The apartment was downstairs & not much sound proofing from people upstairs. A washing machine would have been a positive.

Location was perfect. Close to Queen St shopping & restaurants. Easy walk to Lakeshore & Trillium Park. Clean & very comfortable. Loved the retro feel.

The noise from upstairs is considerable and I would not recommend this property if you are not used to having upstairs neighbours - or are anything but a heavy sleeper. We live in social housing in central London and our upstairs neighbours are very noisy, yet even we found ourselves saying 'what could they possibly be doing up there?'

This is a smart and spacious property in a beautiful street in a great part of town. I felt well supported and when we had a query, it was quickly resolved with good comms. There was nothing we needed that we didn't have.

Within easy walking access to all downtown attractions. Condo was comfortable, clean, pleasantly decorated and we enjoyed our stay.

It was quite dated (as I thinks all properties in the area). The wooden floors were creaky when walking on them. This was fine for us but when upstairs people were walking around we could hear it rather loudly at all hours of the day and night. It was also a 30min walk to downtown, although we worked out the tram/streetcar running on King St West was very handy!!

There was a big height difference between the bathroom floor and the hallway that took some getting used to. The door into the condo did not open fully and got stuck on the floor forcing one to enter through the left side of the door. When I initially entered, there was a piece of furniture to the left of the door that I walked into. There was a very nice brand new TV that uses WiFi for its connection to services. The WiFi router and TV are on opposite ends of the condo and the connection was not stable. So it was not pleasant watching a program as it frequently lost connection and then reconnected after a few minutes. Once I had to re-enter the WiFi password for the TV to get it to reconnect.

There was plenty of space, the bathroom was brand new with an excellent shower with plenty of hot water. The towels provided were very plush and large! The kitchen was large and very well equipped although the microwave was located on top of the refrigerator and made it very awkward to use. The bedroom was very quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows very comfortable. There was pleasant artwork on the walls. The WiFi was generally excellent for my mobile and laptop. There was plenty of storage and closet space in the bedroom. The location was in a very quiet neighborhood.

Some basic toiletries should be provided like body cream or face wash, just for convenience purposes. Check-in time should be a bit earlier in the afternoon around 2 pm.

The apartment in itself is very aesthetic and cute with all things you could possibly want. Cleanliness and hygiene levels were a 10/10. There is a self check-in method (flat code is provided to u beforehand) so it's really easy and amazing. Host was through with replies to any queries I had and there was no miscommunication. The location is pretty quiet and cozy so if you're in Toronto for a short non-travel-purpose stay then this studio apartment is your best bet ◡̈

the apt. was clearly not ever lived in as there were no extras as almost all Airbnb's have, such as something in the frig or a spice or two. There were no instructions for garbage or recycling -- uhntil the day we left -- or the name and phone # of a local person in case of some problem, nor any suggestions for where to shop or eat locally. Whenever I got an email from booking and tried to answer it my email was rejected as undeliverable. Most significantly the noise from upstairs neighbors, and their energetic toddler was very irritating mornings and late afternoons and sometimes in the middle of the night.

It was run by Upstay who made the whole experience very stressful. Said balance of payment would be due at the property & then applied to our credit card a week before. Door entry code sent by email a few hours before arrival when we had no access to emails (on a train!) No flexibility from company, Upstay! Only 1 towel each for an 8 night stay!!
