The kitchen facilities were not clean; we couldn’t really use them, except for the refrigerator. We had some trouble with the tv, but the manager helped us promptly and cheerfully.

The location, right on the river, was great. The corner room was large, with windows on three sides. The manager (owner?) was pleasant and helpful. We were just passing through and stayed one night.

Cigarettes smell

It’s in a very good location. Very clean and comfortable. The rooms were renovated but the big issue is the cigarette’s smell. It’s a Motel and we stayed there during the F1 WE. Hotels in Montreal were around 600$. So, it was worth it if you don’t mind the smell.

in need of a paint job, old furniture

This is an older motel that must have been great at one time, Now it is in need of renovation. However the staff is very pleasant. The basis were all good: clean linen, cleanish room, although the edges all were in need of a deep clean. Bed was very good, most oher furniture were dated. Large new TV. Bathroom old but clean. Kitchenette included with plates, silverware, pots etc. Excellent location on the river. very good wifi. Metro Grocery store 3 minute walk.

Beautiful view from the river side room. Very nice and helpful owner. Very close to the river bank, the sound of splashing water. We spend the morning admiring nature and soaking our feet in the river.

Can't complain. For that money, its worth the stay. Staff was very polite, gave us extra towels even without asking....and always smiling. I was surprised that the basic room had a microwave oven and a refrigerator, coffee machine, free bottled water and more than enough towels, soaps etc. The best part was the motel was on St. Lawrence River, so we could see the river from our room window. Parking was just outside the room.

Noise from adjacent rooms.

While the furniture resembled a garage sale collection, everything was spotlessly clean and was functional. This location was the closest thing to where we needed to be the next morning at an early time. OK for a night - though it was noisy from adjacent rooms - but could not have stayed longer for our own peace of mind.

I only speak English so it was a bit of extra work communicating with the proprietor. He was cheerful about the interaction which made it worth the effort.

There's a very relaxed vibe to the whole place that encourages socializing with other guests beside the St Lawrence.

Wifi didn't work, found hair in the bathtub, overpriced for what you get. No sound proof so you will hear everything in the other rooms.

The location is good as it's right off the highway on the lake. The staff is friendly

There were spiders in my room, could have been cleaner, doors were dirty (black prints). There was only a doorknob lock, no dead bolt, no chain. Not suitable for little children who can get out easily especially by the water.

The lakeside location is definitely a plus! The room was very clean, but simply furnished. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated that after a full day of travel.The owner was very accommodating . We would definitely stay there again!
