Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsI would've liked a room not next to the street.
Since the season was over, I didn't get to experience Naramata in its full glory. I also just stayed for two nights, so I didn't have a lot of time to explore. But the 'hotel' is a perfect spot for Naramata. Great room, perfect location. The check-in is easy and the staff is helpful and easy to reach when needed.

CanadaA lovely design with attention to detail, sparkling clean and a super smooth self check-in process. Location is also awesome, 5-min walk from the beach and just across the street from a lovely breakfast place. It’s obvious that the owners care about the place and the guest experience!

United StatesThe suites were newly done, very clean, and the bed comfortable. The room is quite small but good enough for one night. We could hear a few people but the place was quiet by 10 PM. We love the village and right across the street is the Grape Leaf cafe which offers fantastic takeout food. The breakfast sandwiches were excellent and carried us through until dinner time.

CanadaThe units are quite small. Make sure you book a suite and not just a room like we got by mistake.
The staff were very accomodating and she went out of her way to help us. The locked garage provided secure storage for our E bikes. AC worked well and was quiet.

CanadaThe chairs in the small living room were funky but awkward and uncomfortable.
Cute but small unit. Upgraded with everything one needed. Air conditioner was welcomed and quiet. Bed was small but so was bedroom. No cable tv but access to streaming sites like Disney, Tubi and Netflix ( if you had an account. ) Small units but cozy and cute. Well equipped small kitchenette. Older motel but nicely renovated.

CanadaOne thing we didn’t get was, 2 enormous size chairs, taking 50% of the small room space. They are useless and make small room even smaller.
Location is perfect. Everything is clean and looks new. No bad smells or odour . Simple and practical.

CanadaNothing to do after 8 unless you travel to Penticton
The accommodations were great, the area is what I would consider "sleepy" as restaurants/diners were not open Monday or Tuesday for breakfasts due to short staffing. Very little to do in Naramata, if you want a quiet relaxing vacation this would be the place. Pub and Grill was great from noon to 8pm, food was great.

United KingdomMattress was a bit soft for my back. Our room was a bit small but very well laid out so we were happy with it.
Lovely. Owner is fantastic. The area is expensive so where I've read complaints about price, I feel you need to compare, and this is good value for the area. Beautiful outdoor courtyard area with private table and chairs, Fittings/ decor very nicely chosen. Great shower. We asked for some crockery and cutlery and owner bought us beautiful stuff and even a bottle of dessert wine to taste. Would definitely stay here again.

CanadaThe staff was amazing and did everything they could to ensure a comfortable stay. They even allowed us to check in early so my husband could do a work zoom call from the room. The room was simple but spotless. It was great to have the little kitchenette and fridge in the room. The location was absolutely amazing, close to the general store, the cafe and the beaches.

CanadaThe small windows on the side and at the back of the room did create a bit of a claustrophobic feel, but this was a minor issue for us.
The rooms were spotless, and we were comfortable enough. The lone staff person we met/spoke with (Nancy) was polite, helpful and contributed to our enjoyment with the stay.

CanadaTV and internet were not working. Loud between units. Expensive for one night’s stay, for a motel style. On top of that, guests are responsible for doing their own dishes fully.
Great location, excellent friendly staff. Cute unit that came fully equipped with kitchen.
