We stayed at this property last year ,room was better ,this time we stayed #7 ,they had the coffee stand in the closet ,it took half of the closet,there was no luggage stand or no chair to put your luggage ,I had to use the corner of the bed .my son used the floor. They had a tv cabinet for a piece of furniture and put the microwave on the bottom shelf ,had to squat on the floor in order to use it ,so inconvenient.There was no menu for using the phone ,so didn’t know how to call them ,other then walking to the office. They did not tell us that we had to request maid serve if we wanted it , so our room was not cleaned, until the second day.

There wasn't really anything that we DIDN'T like during our stay. Except for our trip into Duck Mountain Provincial Park MB...and getting a flat tire. But that had nothing to do with the service we received at New Country Motel.

Staff were very friendly. The location was close to the main business centre but yet far enough away that it wasn't noisy. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. Complimentary coffee in the rooms and it was nice to see the little bar fridge had a little freezer. My sister and I had tire problems on our 2nd day there. We had a staff member come to see if he could help, as well as a guest beside us. Luckily there was an OK TIRE 5 mins down the road. They got us fixed up and back on the road within 2 hrs. If we ever happen to visit Swan River again, we will definitely know of a decent priced motel to stay at. Thank you New Country Motel

the drains in the bath tubs need to be angered to get rid of the hair blocking the drain, the tub filled up with water and it could cause athlete’s foot or warts. Also the filter for the air conditioner was so plugged that I had to remove it from the unit so it would blow cold air. water damage in the bathroom and the tiles should have been fixed.

Beds are not great quality, very creaky and wobbly, but didn't hurt our backs so....that was a plus. Very thin walls, not quiet. But a nice stay for the price.

Clean rooms, bottles of water in the room, coffe in the room, friendly obliging staff! No unpleasant odors that you find in some older motels.

My only suggestion is 4 pillows rather than only 2 on the bed. But no big deal...would definitely book again!

Plug-ins are sparse, we always pack an extension cord. Expanders for outlets would be helpful. Bathroom door sticks, probably an easy fix if shaved down a bit. (Noisy to open /close at night).

The rooms look tired, but in no way affected our stay. The price was fair for what we got, and truly, we lacked nothing.

Convenient and quiet location. Keyless entry. Microwave, frig, toaster supplied. Great parking. Close to restaurants. Staff was very accommodating. Sheets smelled great!
