The rooms aren't as soundproof as I would've liked, you could hear it I'd there was a party going on.

Honestly the supper. The service, app and dessert was excellent.The steak was tough and chewy. Totally unacceptable for the cost and overall quality of your establishment. My wife commented never has she cut a steak and the knife can be heard scrapping the meat. Believe it was strip loin, looked like it was cooked right and pink enough, why it was so dry and tough is a mystery. Too bad

The location was awesome. It was nice to walk along the lake. Our room was very clean and acceptaable. The noise of the highway was the only concern. The big trucks were loud. Enjoy our stay and would have like a couple more days there.

My room was located in the main lodge building directly over the main entrance. There was a lot of pedestrian and vehicle noise until about 8 to 9 pm. Additionally, the hallway on which my room was located on the second floor, shared the vestibule of the vaulted dinning area. This amplified the sounds of the dining area. However, these sounds died down by 8 to 9 pm. If you plan to an early start on the next morning, I would suggest asking for a room away from the main lodge building.

The lodge has a fantastic location and views. Pleasant walking paths course through the grounds and between the cottages. The waterfront has Adirondack-style chairs available to allow for the majesty of the view to be enjoyed. Fantastic dining area with a truly impressive carved wood map of the surrounding area.

get rid of the plastic linings on the bed, I was alergic and had to sleep on top of comforter, stairs are to hard to drag luggage up for older people, there was no air movemnt in rooms, couldnt open the doors beacuse the patio door screens would not close

The room got very warm. We were able to use a fan, but it became uncomfortable because of the temperature. We would have liked to have eaten in the dining room, but with only one expensive option, we ordered take-out and ate on our balcony.

The lodge was beautiful!! The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The grounds were also beautiful and we enjoyed walking down to the lake.

They billed in U.S. dollars four percent higher than exchange rate. My Flagship ViSA does not charge a currency exchange x change fee, if they had charged Canadian dollars like other hotels by actual VISA charge would have been the exchange rate on the post date or about $13 dollars less. I did not notice at the time, but did math on phone later and compared to the exchange rate.

The wifi is very very slow such that it is hit or miss when trying to access website. Some worked and some never loaded. Also they should add coffee maker for each room. It is so inconvenient without it.
