Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThere was only one chair in the room, which meant that one of us ate a room service meal standing up. Hotel rooms should all be equipped with two beds, two armchairs and a table for eating meals delivered. I have noticed that some of the budget hotels have scaled back enormously on furnishings, but I don’t consider the Delta by Marriot to be a budget hotel. The outer windows of the room were very dirty. Hopefully, now that spring is here, they will be cleaned.
The staff were kind and efficient. The ease of parking was excellent. Starbucks in the lobby is fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff were efficient and kind. The room service was prompt and excellent; the meals were very good. Beds very comfy and the room was clean.

CanadaPillows weren’t the most comfortable. No fan in bathroom to circulate warm or hot air from shower. Could’ve used more towels but was ok. Front desk could’ve promoted the hotel and surrounding area better.
There was a coffee shop inside hotel and restaurant and pool. We liked that. Room was very nice. Liked that room had fridge and water bottles were in room. Hot bkfst was very good and yummy.

United KingdomOnly have “do not disturb” for room - would like to have a “make up my room” option too so that Housekeeping were able to service the rooms earlier. I went out at 9am and back at 2pm and room wasn’t cleaned so was annoying. Local taxi firms weren’t great - not hotels fault but I found the cars dirty cars and basic. No plain yoghurt at breakfast or fresh egg station both would be welcomed.
Great reception team, very friendly. Starbucks is a bonus and really good to have on site. Clean rooms.
