Still did not get my money back that was held as guarantee by the hotel … to what purpose I do not know as there was no stocked mini fridge. Not room service etc… so one week almost and the charges of 250 CAD blocked on my debit card still have not been liberated.

For the upgrade cost the falls were great however it was expensive to do so. The facilities at the hotel were just okay. No food or bar available.

Fantastic view of the falls but it was not clear in the booking.com write up that only certain rooms were Fall view. As a result it cost a small fortune to upgrade and I was someone embarrassed to have to do so.

I thought the additional charge for parking was wrong, after paying a high fee for the room. Also, we went to the lobby to look for an evening snack and only found a poorly stocked vending machine.

Room was not adequately cleaned, there was a dried up lime on the floor of our room from previous guests and the mirror was filthy

When checking in at 7pm on a Friday night (what I would consider peak time), there was 1 check in desk open and a queue of 7 groups waiting. Not only did the woman checking in the group ahead take over 15 minutes with one group, more frustratingly the manager (?) on duty felt it was more important to tell off her other staff member for over 10 minutes, in front of all the customers. At one point he tried to step away to start helping the customers and she called him back to continue berating him. Surely this could have been done in private and at a more appropriate time. When I finally got to the counter, having sent my friend and her exhausted, hungry 2 year old ahead to our dinner location because check in was taking so long, the same manager apologised for the delay…which she had been directly responsible for. Beyond this, the beds were uncomfortable, the pillows lumpy, there was a lovely bath tub with no plug and a metal grate to stop a plug being put it. Again great for bathing a toddler. And we called down to room service 3 times for a corkscrew which when finally delivered broke within 30 seconds and didn’t open the bottle. They then tried to deliver us a cot we didn’t order at 10:30pm. Convenient for seeing the falls but I wouldn’t recommend over the many other hotels. Also $45+tax parking per night is exorbitant.

There was one cloth chair in the room, it was full of stains and it well worn. It also had a very dirty smell to it. Tired to sit on it, could not handle the smell.

No coffee maker or microwave. No where to sit and watch TV. You have to be on the bed and I don't like watching TV in bed. $40 for parking is a little extreme.

45 minutes check in. Pillows were small. Building exterior was flapping and making noise all night. No coffee maker in the room. No wardrobe closet by the bedroom.

There were no chairs in our room, I was expecting one regular chair and one for the desk area. The AC/Heater was difficult to figure out without instructions. The shower/tub was narrow.

The view from our room was spectacular. The bellman Charlie and Joe were very nice and extremely helpful. Also, Tyler took care of us getting us a chair for the room and quickly picking up our trash and recyclables. The 24 hour coffee/tea bar was nice and the availability of microwave too.

The room was a suite that overlooked the falls, but did not have a wardrobe or chair to sit and look at the falls. The gym was poor and not all equipment was in use.
