How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nice place to stay, quiet and good value for the price. Big room and comfortable beds. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. The room I originally was booked in was very cold and the heat would not come on. The manager checked and agreed there was an issue with the heat, so moved me to another room. Would recommend staying here.

We did not like the noise from the Humidifer Fan in Bathroom. Would like to see more electrical plugs for charging electronics etc. Found the TV very hard to hear even with wearing Hearing Aids. No control of Volume.
The room was very clean and well equipped with all we required. The pillows were plentiful and soft. The Owner/attendant was very friendly and helpful with local information. It was close to a very good Family Restaurant, 'The Big Scoop' at which we ate 2 meals.

I was charged double the usual rate as it was the holiday weekend.
This motel was clean and spacious and had a fridge and microwave. There was a pool as well.

room was extremely humid, perhaps a small dehumidifier coupled with the air conditioning may alleviate this. Then again this is constantly affected by the local weather.

Air conditioner was directly beside me blowing on me while I slept no matter how I adjusted the direction of the airflow. I didn't enjoy that. Hot water was difficult to get at times. TV channels were terribly limited. I think they would be better off having a firestick and a subscription to Netflix or something. Toilet should be upgraded to a higher height model for people with mobility needs. Population is aging.
Room was spotless clean. It was big. Plenty of room. Shower had lots of room. Bed, mattress, and pillows were ultra comfortable.

Tv remote didn’t work for tv(couldn’t change volume) Pool too deep for young children( but I still did enjoy the pool area just hard with my young children )

They accomodated us for late check in because the flight was delayed. The staff was wonderful and the room was comfortable. The location was within walking distance of restaurants and stores so it was easy to shop.

Staff was very nice and we had a nice quiet stay overall. Hairdryer in the room saved the day as we arrived soaked from the rain.

I have COPD & the carpet cleaning solution bothered me a bit, so I would prefer flooring to carpeting, but that's a personal choice. The main problem, & this is not the Motel's, is the lack of restaurants open for breakfast. Except for Tim's, nothing opened before 11:00 AM. This is probably due to Covid restrictions & lack of staff, so will probably change in the future.
This small, Family run motel, was extremely clean, comfortable, & centrally located. There was a refrigerator, coffee maker, & kettle, coffee & teas, & creamers!! (not powdered milk) Lots of bathroom linens (more than most bigger hotels), WIFI & cable TV. It's in the heart of the Annapolis Valley & a good point from which to begin touring. Would definitely recommend it.

No table to eat at. The lighting could have been a bit better. Location is awesome.
The staff, and pool were awesome. I would rather have 1 queen bed with a table in the room. All in all it was a very pleasant relaxing 2 days. Extremely welcoming, friendly and pleasant.
