Place is right by the train tracks (not so bad) but it seemed out of the large group of people I spoke to that stayed elsewhere my consensus was I had the best place out of everyone

The night we visited, there were extremely few options for food in town. The rooms could benefit from some upgrades.

The location fit with our road trip plans. It was a 50's style motel with free parking. Good value for an average facility.

The decor/linens were a little bit dated, but that didn't negatively impact our stay at all.

Nikki was very welcoming and the rooms were extremely clean. We had a small kitchenette and plenty of room to set up our pack-and-play while travelling with a baby. AC was great. Was also impressed with the sound control as the motel is right across from a train but it was not loud at all! Overall, it wasn't fancy but was a clean, comfortable and safe stay for us.

The sheets smelled very strong, not a bad smell, maybe too much detergent? Just seemed to trigger my allergies and asthma. There also wasn't any dish soap left in the room and no curtain on the back window to stop the room being bright by 5.30am, so didn't sleep well.

The location was a good halfway point on my road trip, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and neat if a little outdated.

I did not like the chemical laundry product smell on the blankets. I have a sensitivity to scents. It wasn't awful, just not for me. The train is very close and ran past about 4 times. It could be annoying if that sort of thing bugs you. We couldn't get the TV to work. We are challenged with technology.

Nice little motel. We arrived late and the people were very nice. I did phone ahead to let them know, though. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. The place is older but not musty. The windows opened, for me that is a bonus. The front-end lady allowed me to use my debit to pay and didn't need a deposit. Perfect! The gazebo was a wonderful spot to relax. I would stay there again.

It's a motel, nothing fancy just could use an update on paint, linens and some furniture pieces. Clean and comfortable for what we needed.

A quaint little place in a beautiful little town- so much gorgeous scenery within walking distance of this motel! a quick walk across the street unlocked beautiful views- and we got to see the salmon running as we walked along the river banks- pretty incredible. the staff was very kind and accommodating 😊

Overall good except that one of the room we got where AC wasn’t working due to some power tripping earlier that day. also that room wasn’t clean properly. it was not of hassle for a family with a kid as they couldn’t sleep whole night.

The sound of the air conditioner is very loud, if you open the window, you can always hear the noise of the train passing by during the night. In addition, the actual room rate charged by the motel is more than the total amount displayed on the booking.

The property charged a $3 fee in addition to PST and GST without saying what the extra charge was for. This was not specified in our reservation details. In response to a later inquiry, they advised that it was the credit card fee that was passed along to us.

Room was spacious with small kitchenette. Good wifi. Nice green space on property. Family operated. Good for an overnight stay.
