Accommodation is simply but I found it entirely comfortable and good value considering the general expense of Vancouver. I would just suggest you have your utensils with you or be prepared to buy a can opener or whatever, the kitchen is basic and not much shared items available. I really liked being around the BC campus.. had good transport links but was nice and quiet.

The property ( my room ) is a long walk to food areas and a long walk to catch the bus. Your are staying at the very back of the university.

I enjoyed my stay. The bed not as comfortable as I would of liked but ok. Other facilities were close by. I'm pleased and wouldreturn.

The environment is very beautiful and the staff is very friendly. If you encounter any problems, the staff will try their best to help (such as calling a taxi to the airport, etc.)Campus facilities are sufficient.If given the chance, I would like to stay again!

It was a bit far from the bus loop. The beds while not uncomfortable, weren't very comfy.

It was in UBC. The price for the room was pretty good

Adding a fan to the rooms in summers

The location was very good, being within the campus felt safe. Very clean, though a fan in peak summer would have made the stay more comfortable

This is a student home transformed into a hostel for the holiday time. The way to it should be better described.

Nice rooms with a lot of light. It is on the very beautiful university campus. Very beautiful area. But with the bus 1h to get to downtown. Nice place for exploring Vancouver by bike though.

Nothing I disliked. It’s simple and basic but that’s what I expected. Shared bathrooms were clean and private.

Such a beautiful location, outside the city centre. It’s quiet and peaceful in the holidays. Good bus links into the city and facilities on site.

It was hot in the room, even with a fan ( which I asked at the front desk) didn't help much. The washrooms and showers for women were on different floors ( i had to walk either floor up or floor down.) On our floor was only for men.

Location was good, walked everywhere, close to the beach and trails.

Room was clean, but the smell was very much like a boys dorm room despite no obvious sources of such smell. Perhaps a deep clean of flooring and paint job would help?

Would have liked our own washroom, and a/c as it was hot out the first night, and wifi.

Breakfast & Dinner at the cafeteria upstairs were excellent. Location was great for my son who stayed with me and was interested in seeing the campus.

Room smells very strange and I should bought airwick to reduce strong smell.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location close to the beach and not so far to UBC bus station. Laundry room is a big plus.

Nothing to complain about.

This was a very good student room with a comfortable bed and a large desk. The bathroom and toilet was a few steps from the room and were very clean. There was a kitchen with cooking facilities and a refrigerator. There was also a lounge room available. It was a quiet and peaceful place. The staff at reception were pleasant and friendly. The UBC campus is lovely and is well served by public transport.

The bed was so uncomfortable. I stayed for 5 nights and don't think I had one great night's sleep. Hard mattress and flimsy pillow. Considered sleeping on the floor one night.

Great value for money. Very clean and safe on beautiful UBC grounds. Bus options to the city are good and there's lots of food options around campus. Also a little kitchen on each floor for your own use.

Lots of strangers hair all over the room and in the bedding. no bug screens on the windows.

Nice sized room and convenient location. Bed is comfy enough for a few nights.
