Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaWhen you first enter the unit( #303 )it looks clean and smells pleasant .However, when you take a closer look at it it is unkempt, dirty and damaged . The front window in the living room is shattered, the frames are flimsy and the sills are dirty , the stove was dirty and needed to be cleaned . The couch is filthy and heavily stained so much so that I never sat on it once over the 4 days I was there .There are safety issues- the smoke detector has a plastic glove covering it and the fire escape balcony that leads to the staircase is covered in debris including a board with nails sticking out of it and the screen and second window are not operable so there is no way to access it. I texted the management and they asked for pictures which I sent them and then they never replied. After I left the unit they sent me a message only because they wanted to know to know my check out time …”I am so sorry for the inconvenience and the delay in addressing the issues you encountered during your stay”. Please see PHOTOS below.
The location was great -lots of local coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The unit overall had been updated and it was spacious , had air conditioning and a washer and dryer.

United StatesShort answer: Staff responses were appalling, denied issues, and then ignored messages to resolve after stay. Facilities WERE NOT as described, paid over the odds for accommodation that was not what was booked, our group was uncomfortable and short-changed. Felt like a scam. Long answer: I booked and paid for a place for 5 people. The place I booked said 2 king-size beds and a sofa bed in the living room. We paid a lot as it was a busy weekend in town, but we knew that going in. When we got there, there were 2 beds, and a sofa that *did not* pull out into a bed. I contacted the agent and they said we were not allowed to have 5 people in this unit as it was only for a maximum of 4 people. I explained my booking, and the response was that they could bring some extra bedding THE FOLLOWING DAY, so we had an uncomfortable first night. I reminded them of the bedding the following day, and they eventually delivered one blanket and one sheet. No pillow or second sheet, pretty unhygienic, basic. (Separately, the oven still had the remnants of food cooking in it, which I took a photo of - not a drama as we didn't use the stove, but just added to the annoyance that they clearly didn't clean properly either) I contacted them after we left and explained that clearly the listing was in error and I considered some symbolic compensation was in order. I was told that the apartment was for 4 only, and I must have booked in error. That it was my fault!! I can clearly show that I booked for 5, and the booking should have included a sofa bed. Otherwise, I would not have paid for the place. My group included my 76yo mother, who needed a bed. I showed them screencaps of my booking and that it was not my fault. They only agreed to change the listing (which they still haven't, over a month later). I again asked for some money back, and then all responses dried up. I messaged again and again, and was ignored. This unit is one of many that this company manages.

Canada1. The king-size beds have two mattresses that separate from time to time, generating a space between them, and that was unpleasant. 2. There weren't sheets available for the sofa bed, and we couldn't use it. We reported the sheets issue the night of our arrival, and the property manager team never responded to our situation. (No sheets were delivered) 3. We didn't like that the place included a parking space (it could be spot an assigned spot) that was occupied by local residents or neighbors. So, be patient as we did. If you travel with family with little kids, the recommendation is to drop them in front of the building and them park the vehicle in the back. The spots are not the best for SUVs or MiniVans if you are not a good parking in small spots. Keep that in mind. 4. Since the property is in a nice neighborhood with a lot of local restaurants, bakeries, and bodegas; we were expecting more than 1 recommendation from the property manager. 5. TV was not working properly during our visit. The screen is not great quality. We were expecting this amenity since we made a plan of using it during our visit.
1. Great location. A lot of local stores near. Go to the bakery "Boulangerie Cheskie" or the deli that are on the right side of the building. Btw, it is a quiet area. 2. A lot of natural lights, even during raining days, that we were there. (That was something that my family loved) 3. A bus stops almost in front of the builsing door. Beads are comfortable (but not good for couples). 4. Spacious bathroom with a nice shower. 5. The kitchen is fine (do not expect all utensils). 5. The property manager gave us a discount in a local place (we couldn't use it). 6. Fast internet service available. 7. Mattresses are comfortable. 8. It was clean, at least at first sight.
