How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

One of the rooms had a broken window, you could feel the cold wind and hear the noise from outside. We didn't say anything and just decided to sleep in the other room. Underneath the fridge there were crumbs of food and a lot of dust. I was surprised.
The room was spacious.

The best place to stay I have seen in my life. Very nice large rooms, fully equiped kitchen, workplaces, shining clean bathrooms, delicious breakfast. Will definitely visit again and try the swimming pool.

The only thing was the sound from the air conditioner, it was a little loud at night, but not too bad.
The room is huge, great for three of us. It has everything we need, like Fridge, Microwave, Electric Range, etc.

- staff is a bit nervous sometimes, despite me being friendly and kind; - room on the ground floor means extra noise coming from the corridor - mostly staff internal communication - heating works in intervals, sounds like a little tractor starts up inside the room every now and then - I was kinda getting used to it over a short time tho.. - it would be good to borrow EC socket adapters for those travelling from there. Lifehack: USB can be connected to router, Mac to TV in-let, or go spend CAD 30 at nearest Wallmart for adapters' set.. In general - no big deal, price/comfort makes up for all little troubles, I would stay there again definitely.

I didn’t like the fact the we had to wait a little bit to check out because there was nobody at the reception to help check out I had to call to the hotel for then somebody to come and help check me out .
I liked everything very well maintained friendly staff amazing location such a being view and the price was very reasonable.

We got the room on discounted price. We stayed at suite. It had everything you could possibly need. Everything was super clean! The staff was also very welcoming.

House Cleaning Staffs are doing a great job!Access to facilities like the pool area is not convenient, need to ask someone from the front desk to open the door access just get in, hotel rooms access card has only limited access. I heard refugees might take over some of the staffs, it is fine, but nit because those refugees will not complain and old staffs will be fired, it is not fair!!!

Nothing. Everything was perfect. I’m surprised this place doesn’t have higher ratings.
The breakfast was amazing, the kids loved the pool, the rooms were clean and spacious. Exceptional value for money! Free parking available as well.

We had busy plans. The only bad thing was we weren't spending more time there! It was a great place and would definitely go back!
We were upgraded from a 1 queen room to 2 queen beds. It was like a mini apartment! So much space, very clean and comfortable. And pool and hot tub were good. Most hotels they always seem to be closed so was happy we could use this. Also breakfast was amazing!

Checking in took too long if there could be more than 1 staff member at the reception. Also, the pillows were not comfortable. I had a sore neck overall. I had a wonderful stay

Super clean! The suite was spacious and kitchen got all we need. The guy who checked me in was very kind and helpful walked me through everything from parking, to pool, and breakfast! Best part FREE parking and FREE breakfast!! Got heated pool and small gym didn’t manage to use it
