We were there for the freedom rally. The location was exceptional. The studio balcony room was large and felt like home. We will be staying here again. Oh and the Nespresso machine was divine!!

I reserved a 2 bedroom suite. It is really a 1 bedroom, plus a den. The second room did not have a window. Also, there weren’t any places in the area to grab breakfast on weekend mornings.

I chose this place because of the balcony and views, but our balcony was not street view, it was so disappointing 😞... I like sunlight, but we couldn't even open blinds, because people from across could see us.....

I would have given this property a 9 if it were not for the bed. I cannot imagine designing a lovely, clean condo/apartment hotel and in the main bedroom NOT putting in a legit QUEEN bed or KING. They say its a QUEEN but it's not. It MAY be a European Queen which is more like a N.A double bed. What a shame. I had a sofa bed and used it second and third nights. Left the bed for my wife. Really poor planning to put in such a small bed. If that does not bother you - this is a GREAT property.

Great location. New facility. Clean. Lovely. Don't believe the other comments, Staff were nice and helpful. In my case, they dealt with a booking computer glitch. I got the wrong (smaller) room and they provided me with an upgrade. Well-handled. Thank-you.

Air conditionning a little noisy

Clean, new construction (2020), modern with fully furnished kitchen. In the heart of downtown Ottawa. Great Gym and pool table.

One staff in particular tried to give me a hard time at check in. Staff sitting next to her jumped in and was extremely helpful. Needed to ask this staff for 2 things during stay , one was for the wifi password as she did not give it to me during check-in. Other was for more toilet paper, as the suit we were in had 2 bathrooms and only one had toilet paper. Both times this staff seemed annoyed by my request.

Other staff members seemed very inviting. The place was beautiful. Loved that the kitchen was full and provided pots and pans and utensils. Very clean hotel. Probably will book again!

Walls are thin so you could hear a lot. Modern glass doors let light into the room.

The reStay suites are spacious, clean, modern and functional. The location is great and close to many bars, restaurants, shopping, water tours and parliament buildings. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The condos are new, clean and spacious. The location is downtown around many restaurants and walking distance to parliament and other things. I need to make special mention to the unbelievable customer service at the hotel. The staff here go above and beyond with their amazing service. They are very friendly and accommodating! They personally went out of their way to help us on many different occasions on our trip. You feel comfortable and at home at this hotel. This hotel is also perfect for a family as there is lots of room. We are a family of 5 and often find regular hotel rooms too small. I will definitely come here again!

The bed is too small for couples There is no hot water in shower mid day unless we call front desk No change of towels or bedding’s and no top up of shower gel or shampoo unless you ask for it No milk with coffee unless you ask staff and sometimes not available

The room basically like a hotel studio/ apartment not like the standard hotel room. No water or snacks. No daily cleaning, need to call daily for shower gel or to empty the small bin. I believe daily service and cleaning especially of the bathroom is important

Cold shower - even after letting the water run for 15mins it did not warm up enough to have a pleasant shower. The faucet in the bathroom and kitchen also did not have any hot water.

Rooms were on the dark side, a couple lamps would be great. Minimalistic to the point of feeling very stark. My youngest slept on the pull out sofa and blanket that was provided felt like sandpaper. We requested a duvet like the beds had on them and were told they had none ?? Very odd. Woken up to evacuate due to fire alarm, obviously not the fault of the hotel but then when we tried to get back to sleep after going back up to our room, we could hear the bells from the elevator ringing loudly under our door.

Rooms were very large with two washrooms. There is definitely lots of space and storage room for a family traveling. Front reception staff friendly during check-in. We were informed there is a private movie viewing lounge that we could book for our family, which is a nice option.

Elevator was not working. There was no hot water in the morning for a shower.

I felt like I was in an office building. My window faced an office building that was very close, so the room was dark and cheerless. The TV was very large, but had to be seen from an uncomfortable sofa covered in something like Naugahyde.

The washer/dryer in the room was a great plus, as was the kitchen facility with a large refrigerator. The location was also good.
