I was over charged a month in advance. Originally booked for three nights but changed it to one night. I still havent gotten my refund for the other two nights ! Not sure i would recommend booking through a third party ( booking.com) as no one is getting back to me.

It was perfect. Definitely some stairs heading from parking lot into front door which may be difficult for some to navigate.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, stocked fridge for breakfast. Nice amenities such as sauna and hot tub! Great communication with the managers.

The rooms were well stocked, beds very comfortable and modern well designed bathrooms. The breakfast and the room/kitchen for the breakfast was fantastic. The location was perfect as we could walk to the grocery store. We also used this as a stay to be close to the ferry to PEI. The staff was very friendly. Everything was great about The Riverside Inn and I highly recommend it and would stay again!

Very clean room with a nicely finished bathroom. Beautiful appointed, very private outdoor space we enjoyed the hot tub! Shared kitchen with breakfast options is a very nice touch.

This is our second visit. We love the riverside inn. Although this stay was very loud due to other guests and glass being broken by the hot tub but we were careful and made the most of it ❤️

It was all great!

The inn was right across from the river on a quieter street which was nice. Check in was easy with door codes and instructions given with our confirmation. The room was very nice— clean, tastefully put together and comfortable. The pullout sofa bed in the living had pillows and blankets easily available in a dresser drawer. The master bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The outdoor hot tub was so delightful after a long day of driving and exploring the area. It was nice to have it all to ourselves. (You sign up for an hour time slot by room number.). The kitchen is self-serve complete with cereal, fruit, milk, yogurt, bread, bagels, muffins and instant oatmeal .There were eggs if you wanted to make yourself some eggs. Pans, plates, bowls, etc. available. You needed to do your own dishes and clean up after yourself. Coffee, tea and juice available as well. Very comfortable and nice place!

Traditional style house which was been completely renovated inside with immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. Continental breakfast and access to cooking facilities is available in a communal kitchen. It’s in a good quiet location beside the river but only a few minutes walk from the town centre.

Very clean, modern, easy to check in & out, loved the back yard with the hottub seating area, flowers. We original tried booking in Antigonish because we were dropping off my daughter at university, but those places were all full. I'm so glad we happened upon this place.

It was an amazing place to stay , the location with the walking trails and marina , there on the river , made our stay even more pleasurable. The staff and guest that we interacted with , were friendly and a joy to be around .

Honestly while New Glasgow May not be the most exciting stop in Nova Scotia - Riverside Inn is worth the pit stop. Absolute favorite Inn we stayed at - the room and bathroom were very lovely and modern, the bathrobes were a great addition. The backyard was absolutely stunning with a lovely hot tub and furniture and fire pit. The owner was incredibly lovely and kind. Parking was available too! Internet connection was great.

It was a bit hard to find a good temperature in the shower. Took a long time to get hot water, and then it was very hot. Took some playing with to get it right.

The location was steps to everything so very convenient. Nice continental breakfast with bagels, yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc. Hot tub amd sauna available.
