If you sleep in the loft bed, the ladder is STEEP and there is no grab handles anywhere. Hot tub was closed, which we normally don't use but would have at this lodge because of the beautiful surroundings.

Aside from one other guest, we had the place to ourselves. Very large and homey 2 storey lodge with clean bath and kitchen facilities. Our room was larger than expected. Full kitchen facilities to use, large communal living area with comfy sofa and chairs, lots of woodwork for that country feel. A second smaller kitchen upstairs with windows and couch to look out of. Beautiful setting with lots of birds and open space. Josh greeted us and showed us around and then left us to relax... he was great.

Absolutely a Southern Alberta gem, truly great Value in Waterton. 14km drive to the park. Neat Caribou Outpost store nearby. Bring your own food or order from the menu. We brought Gravity chairs to enjoy the stars at night, we were not disappointed. Played pool. Hot tub is closed off season. Already booked our next visit.

Lovely quiet escape for our family, very close to Waterton. The cottage was very comfortable and spacious. We stayed perfectly warm with the cold temperatures, and loved exploring the outside.

Josh was an excellent host. He even brought us some firewood for a bonfire and a space heater since one of the rooms were a little cooler for the elderly in our group. The cabin and property itself were immaculate and beautifully maintained (you can tell the love that goes into keeping this place like “home”). The cabin and rooms was very quaint and the beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. The kitchen had everyone one could need to cook and eat in. It was honestly one of the best stocked kitchen we’ve seen. We also loved that there were a LOT of dish clothes and kitchen towels. They also had a BBQ grill that we were able to use with ease and was great on the bonfire night. The cabin also has some board games for those interested. We love this place and will definitely visit again.

This was by far one of the best cabins we have stayed in. The other reviews spoke very highly of this place and we were definitely NOT disappointed.

The bathroom for some rooms was shared, so be careful in terms of what you are booking. The location is also slightly far from Waterton Park, but the overall experience was so good that I am wiling to ignore it.

Breakfast was AMAZING! Highly recommend it. I even woke up early for it :D The owners were really nice, and they also own a small grocery store nearby (just a 10 min walk away). The rooms were really warm and cozy, and the overall ambience was really good.

Excellent located place, charming rooms, lodge and the yard. Delicious breakfast! If you want to hike in Waterton Park it's a great option.

Wonderful property. Beautiful home in quiet location near Waterton National Park. Room was small but comfortable. Hot tub and as great. Breakfast was AMAZING!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The property itself was beautiful. Flowers everywhere. We got upgraded to the 3 bedroom, very spacious cottage for no extra charge and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Josh was an excellent host. My friend had breakfast in the lodge and said it was wonderful.

We loved being in the country, having a green space to play in, hot tub to soak in and pool/ping pong and more to keep us occupied!! Star gazing was amazing. Loved it all!!!

Not quite the mountain views we were expecting but we had seen so many on our journey it wasn’t a problem.

Relaxed comfortable accommodation. Lots of communal areas to enjoy and a great kitchen to use. Home cooked breakfast was outstanding!

This isn’t a dislike and we knew it booking it, but you’re 20 mins from Waterton Lakes park, FYI. Didn’t bother us at all, though! The property is gorgeous and a nice spot to spend some time after your hike or bike ride.

Cozy property with all the amenities we could need and the proprietor went above and beyond to help us while we were there.

Absolutely nothing!

Loved the decor in the entire house! Very clean throughout & comfortable. Loved being able to use the fire pit, plus being supplied the wood to burn! The hot tub was a fabulous bonus also!
