We have no complaints at all!

The surroundings were top notch, just stunning.! We want to make plans to have a group of us all rent out the cabins and stay. I most definitely would recommend to friends and family, it was such a relaxing time yet so much to do like hiking and skiing.

There is nothing we didn't like.

The peace and quiet & being close to nature. Close enough to town to be able to do other things. Not having to worry able other people being in our space. Staff always friendly and helpful.

-There were some issues with the 3 dogs that the owners have. The first one was barking at us as we were enjoying sitting on our balcony. It barked also at night and in the morning as we were still in the cabin.  The 2 other ones, the black ones, were pretty big and looked agressive. At 3 occasions, they ran towards us, barked and jumped on us in not a nice way at all. It was quite scary and didn't know how it would have ended if their owner didn't call them a little later. We were only a few meters away from the cabin and were afraid to go on short walks around the resort in case we encounter them again. We are both adults and the way they jumped on us would have certainly knocked over a child.  - we were aware of that on booking but the road is unpaved with some holes and it took us 45min to get there from the main road. - in front of the 3 cabins, there is a common fireplace. When other guests use it until 1:30 in the morning shouting, listening to music... during their whole stay, it can be difficult to sleep. Quiet time is from 10pm and the owners didn't tell those guests anything.  Such a shame there were those little details otherwise the stay would have been perfect!

We generally loved our stay there !  So peaceful, lovely views, beautiful, cosy and comfortable cabin.  The cabin is very well arranged and decorated. There are some interesting books about the area as well as board games, which is nice.  The owners are lovely telling us all about the area and very helpful whenever needed.  We were very lucky with the weather and spent 3 sunny and warm days enjoying the scenery from our balcony and going for small walks.  We loved being away from all the busyness with no wifi or cellphone coverage.  We enjoyed feeling a bit back in time having to use the fireplace as the only heating and the gas lighting.  Looking at clear skies with beautiful stars and the milky way away from all the lights is incredible.

Expect a bumpy road! Definitely bring a 4x4 unit. We have an F150 so it wasn't a problem for us. The property does maintenance on their private road, but being in the mountains it's impossible to keep the road smooth. Also, mosquitos are particularly bad this year so bring lots of spray and your thermacell.

This cabin is located on a meadow nearby beautiful rocky mountain peaks. There is no power or cell service but there is propane lighting and propane powered fridge, stove and hot running water. It's nice to be unplugged while still enjoying all the amenities. The property has a sauna and an old saloon that we didn't use. Kitseguecla lake is nearby, perfect for fishing, swimming and boating.

Those unfamiliar with propane were a little on edge with lighting the lamps.

Super friendly staff. AMAZING location. Loved the little touches--- nice soaps, clean towels, a bbq. So thoughtfully done, our cabin even had a build in ledge for a bird to build its nest. So affordable for what it was, too.

We love the cabins at Rocky Ridge, the best part is being 'off grid' in beautiful surroundings. We've stayed in every cabin at the resort, and our stay in the Honeymoon Cabin was so cosy, comfortable and warm! We will return again!

The cabins are beautiful, perfectly appointed for the off grid experience. Woke up with mama black bear and her Cubs in the field with the clouds in the mountain tops behind them. A short 15 min walk brings you to a beautiful backcountry lake. In a short visit to the lake we saw many fish attempt fight lol. If your looking for a a memorable off grid experience with running water, propane appliances and light fixtures this is the place for you!

Very poor bed quality for the single beds. Sofa absolutely uncomfortable and not clean, no comfortable seatings in the cabin. Frying pan and ustensiles are old and not clean.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful nature environment. Cabin is well made and warm. Plenty of fire wood already prepared. Owners are very welcoming and friendly.

The road in was the only negative. Very bumpy and had to take your time.

The staff was exceptional. The quality of the cabins were amazing for such a low price. The view was breath taking. They're pet-friendly. They made us aware of the bears that were hanging around. They gave us access to the saloon, where there was books and fun stuff to do.

Beautiful property in a valley with mountains surrounding it. Trees around the cabin so you felt like you were the only one there. Only noises were the birds in the trees, the wind in the leaves, the stream running nearby. Cabin was well stocked with everything you’d need for a unplugged getaway but it still had a fridge, indoor plumbing , hot water and a stove/oven. The host was very friendly and made us feel welcome, including our dog who absolutely loved it there too.
