Very comfortable. Looked a bit dated and furniture needed a spruce up.However, room was huge and comfortable and good entertainment in bar. Don't think it was worth the price but location was excellent.

Very clean room and one of the comfiest hotel beds I’ve slept on in years. Staff were helpful and polite, the concierge was especially helpful. Fantastic location, just out of town so great to have quiet from the huddle and bustle but close enough to walk in for food & drink. Spa was also great, mineral jacuzzi. Good parking underground.

Despite leaving the room from 930am to 330pm our room was not cleaned. The sign in the parkade says they cleaned the windshield of my car They did not and I didn’t move my car from parkade all weekend so there is no chance that I was away when they were doing it. The fact that it wasn’t cleaned is totally fine as i certainly didn’t expect it but the sign should be taken down

Size of original room was very small. Really comfortable for only 1 guest... This was addressed with hotel and room was reassigned. Very accommodating!

Rm was much smaller than seemed on line. Another room was assigned. Wonderful room! Staff was great, friendly, very helpful. Very nice hotel. Walkable to shopping, dinners, sightseeing. Beautiful area!

Although the hotel's exterior appears quaint and inviting, the inside looked tired and outdated. The room and bathroom were spacious, but the beds were lumpy.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Even before we departed the United States, the hotel 'concierge' swiftly and successfully booked Banff gondola tickets through Pursuit and bus transfers from/to Calgary and between Banff and Lake Louise with Brewster Express! Although the Royal Canadian Lodge was one of the hotels located furthest away from town, it was a relatively short walk there, and the shuttle stop was steps from the front door.

Staff not really friendly. We were there 7 nights and never asked us how was our stay- Even at checkout. House cleaning was hit and miss as well- our room wasn’t cleaned daily. Overall too expensive for what you get. I wouldn’t book here again

We reserved this property specifically because it had a pool, and the notice on Booking.com said that the pool renovations would be finished before we got there. But when we showed up, the pool is still closed for renovations.

Great place to stay with the family, outside of the main drag, but close enough to walk to anything we need. The staff was very helpful, and everything was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy and convenient.

It was not busy when we arrived in the hotel. We were told that the room is ready and just need inspection. We requested if we can check in a little early coz we got wet from the rain and need to change for our 5pm dinner reservation at Sky Bistro but the lady at the front desk told us that we have to wait till 4pm. So we went to dinner wet. The doorman offered us to barrow his umbrella which is nice.

The location is great. It’s a walking distance to the shopping center and restaurants. It has a parking garage for guess but with a fee. The room is big with both air condition and fireplace. A descent size bathroom with 2 sinks with mirror. The room is clean with fresh linens. I would love to stay here again if I’m coming back to banff.
