The suite was freezing when we arrived, we were able to turn up the heat but as it's a large open area it took quite a while to warm. It was quite difficult to make it to the suite, I was wearing heels and it's a very steep driveway and an uneven path. We had umbrellas as it was raining and it was difficult to bring through the narrow walkway as the foliage along the path is a bit overgrown

What a beautiful property! We didn't have a chance to use the hot tub or sauna but they looked divine. I liked that there was a private entrance as well. Very spacious suite. Host graciously allowed us a later check-out which was incredible.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Port Renfrew. The hosts were very kind and the place was clean and beautiful. We were worried that we had to park by the road outside the property but glad the road was not busy.

No sink in the kitchenette xD But that's a laziness than anything. And you just have to make sure to move the appliances in certain places or it could all shut off.

The garden, good bed, good wifi, the host even came outside with a torch to light us at the gate in the dark and gave us some plastic as he thought we were not equipped enough for the trail.

Fantastic studio unit in a property surrounded by beautiful nature. Everything was very clean and cozy. The owners were also hospitable and nice. They even offered us a hot tub / sauna and other amenities which we were not aware of and also gave us plenty of useful information about the area such as hiking trails, beaches etc.

It was slightly awkward to do the dish-washing in the bathroom- no sink in the kitchenette.

The location is wonderful- so peaceful. We had access to the lovely shaded garden and had our own patio where we sat out with a glass of wine in the evening. We also were able to use a very nice gas BBQ and while we were eating, hummingbirds were coming to the feeder nearby. The studio is very spacious and the toaster and microwave were very useful for breakfast. Our host Alexei was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

A water source closer to the kitchenette would have been nice and you have to watch your toes around the bed frame. Otherwise, excellent.

This is the BEST experience we have ever had at this type of accommodation. The hosts are so very kind and will reach out to make sure your stay is most enjoyable. The property is magical and you can feel the good vibes. The hot tub was perfect and private and did I mention the property is magical. The separate kitchen facilities were A-ONE, the bed was comfy and did I mention the property is magical LOL You will never find a similar place for this reasonable of a rate. Thank you both and if it is possible we will definitely return but for a longer period of time.

Spacious room, huge bathroom, absolutely gorgeous grounds, throw in a wood burning hot tub, fire pit and full satellite tv and of course the very kind and welcoming hosts, Alex and Olga, and you will have a hard time finding better value for your dollar. 20 mins from the picturesque East Sooke Coast Trail and the unique Sooke Potholes, along with other beautiful spots. We could not recommend this place more!

Very very clean, spacious, comfortable beds, extra things like coffee and shampoo, beautiful grounds, outdoor hammock swing, chickens, fire pit, wood burning hot tub, beautiful trees (monkey puzzle), on and on! This place is full of charm and we loved it:) We would love to come back. Finding it was pretty easy with GPS, without we would have likely been lost lol. We did not want to park our rental vehicle on the upper main road. It would have been far away from us and on a very narrow whindy road. It's a narrow steep driveway to enter the property and we didn't figure out the gate right away lol. We called the owner to ask if we could stay parked down there (left a message), right at the property, but we didn't hear back. We assumed it was ok and our rental vehicle was left there. Not sure if that's where they wanted us to park. If required to park above on that little road, we would not been comfortable with that. LOVED the property and so glad we found it! Can't wait to go back!! A real gem.
