They used to include a breakfast but they don't anymore. The place is starting to get dated and needs some new paint and showers need some work.

Thoughtless noise making after 8 pm. The organization of the kitchen sucked as I'd search every cupboard and drawer to find pot lids, steak knives & I'd hoped there'd be salt and oil for my cooking needs too. There was spices that I can not use, so it was strange. A fellow cleaning up at breakfast time however gave me his salt shaker to use, making it much nicer to enjoy my meal.

Location is at the busiest, noisiest intersection where Harvey begins connecting the entire south Okanagan & West Kelowna. My Private room would of been great otherwise, but at 71 sleeping in the noisiest Trans Canada Highway 97 SUCKED; plus staff of people where tinkering around making noises every few minutes. At 8:30 pm when I need to relax to ready for a good sleep a handyman was busy knocking around in the building storage room on the second floor where we sleep. I told him I was trying to ready for sleep and he was dead surprised I heard him . My room was just across the hall and down one room from his Gyproc and cleaning room. And then he didn't stop for sometime. The same guy was busily spraying toxic paint fumes on the patio where the warm spring sun was so inviting. He was at the far end but not far enough from the over-spray and no warning he was doing it! THAT could of caused a dangerous reaction amongst people, especially when one can't avoid the air born spray paint. THAT should never ever happen. He could do that later when no one is outside; and his gyproc closet should of been accessed between 12pm -3 pm!

They don't clean. They tidy. The floor is filled with dust. My bed was filled with hair on arrival. Its just how it is there. There are only volunteers to clean so they can't do that big place alone. Also that for months they said they have free breakfast and it's not true. Breakfast has been removed and price has increased. They need to stop advertising that.

The stay was clean. The staff was friendly. It was not too busy and quiet times were respected. Kitchen utilities are good.

There is a big problem with credit card. I had to fill a paper for everyone in my reservation and write data of my credit card on the paper (not safe for me). It is not normal, because in the rest of the world is not common to have a credit card. We had one for reservation so I think it is enough.

The rules changed since the last time I stayed there. Before it was parking and breakfast included. This time no breakfast and $10 parking. There were extra fees for everything including after hours issues. $20 if you needed help in the night. It must be new management. I will not stay again.

I have to say that I don't like the location very much. It is just besides the highway, so quite noisy at night! and I was charged extra for parking which was not mentioned on the booking.com website. but 50$ for 7 nights, which was not too bad.

It is always good to make new friends staying at a hostel, I made a really good friend there, and we had a lot of fun together.

Very dirty. Lots of hair, stains and gross bathrooms. We have stayed at many hostels around the world and cleanliness was definitely subpar here.

perfect location a lot of the wineries around the town you can rent a bike to explore everything nearby breakfast included - and famous pancakes.. mmmm, yummy-yummy you can take a shower when you are waiting your settlement definitely will choose them again in the other locations

There's ac in the room but it's right by the head of the bottom bunk, I opened the window but the room faced the highway and was very busy and loud throughout the night and morning (lots of trucks etc). Looks like the free breakfast was only pancakes which isn't great if you're tight on time. The staff couldn't give many recommendations for things though (but he said he was a bit new). There was a "security issue" I didn't get many details but they said someone had gotten in. They tried to address it though by changing the code and the manager personally checking who came in from a list. You have to pay for parking but I just left the car on the residential streets behind the hostel (2hrs allowed and free outside of 8-5pm).

Location is good, right by downtown area. Facilities were pretty good but not great. Pretty roomy in the dorm.

True that the mattress was super soft-- I also slept like a rock, so got a little sore. (I like a firm mattress... but hey, you can't please everyone.)

The breakfast was great. The people were great. I loved the outside area in back. Loved that there was music! Enjoyed playing the guitar in the swing : )
