Overall we had a good stay but we were a bit concerned that we did not have to strip the fitted sheets for the check out. Also the kitchen situation was a bit weird since the rags that were used for cleaning the cutlery etc. seemed a bit dirty and not really hygienic.

The check in was very easy and fast, we could park our car at the property, so luggage was no problem. The breakfast was basic but good, probably better than what most backpackers eat most of the time.

The guy at the reception could definitely afford to be nicer. The room was just a pain to open and it was worst for other people in my room. They should fix the lock

our room was on the third floor right next to one of the stairwells and all night all we heard was the stairwell door being open and closed, even tho we had earplugs in. maybe if the hallway had carpet that could absorb the noise better… also the parking lot isn’t big enough for everyone and sometimes u have to park on the street nearby but it doesn’t feel very secure there.

Love the kitchen—big and lots of amenities. our bed and bedding were very comfortable.

The location is easily accessible to downtown and enjoy walking beside Okanagan lake. The total price are very friendly especially including breakfast.

I had good experience staying at this hostel with two female friends. Rooms and common areas are fairly clean. Breakfast is acceptable. Nice place to meet new people and hear their stories.

staff were good, but other guests were not overly friendly. the dorm room needed a good cleaning, dust beside bed and on floor.

location was good. Parking was convenient and included in price. Kitchen facilities were well used, but not by me. Lots of restaurants nearby. washrooms were nice … and clean. shower stalls were dark because bulb needed to be replaced.

The kitchen closes at 10 p.m.

The location is right in downtown facing the highway, a convenient location with a bus stop nearby. There is also a car park. The common areas are the kitchen, dining area, tv room, laundry room, reception area and rear patio. Stayed for one night and it was not too busy/crowded at that time in March. But it was quite occupied. I was in a 4-bedroom dormitory which had a couple of bunk beds. Three other beds were occupied and had one upper-level bunk bed free for my use. The sheets and linen were new. The other roommates were quiet and respectful. The bed is not big but it was big enough for me to comfortably sleep and the mattress was not hard. There is a complimentary breakfast which includes fruits(banana/orange), bagel, and pancake batter to be cooked by yourself. Those pancakes were delicious!

I have always gotten a room beside the stairwell. Room 206 was fine but 306 the stairwell door was unbelievably loud. Every time someone used that door it banged so loudly it woke me up. I barely got any sleep. When I stay again I will refuse to take that room

I have stayed at this place a number of times. It's an inexpensive place to stay with a decent bed, clean towels waiting in your room if you have a private room

Great hostel with friendly staff. Right on the lake and a couple blocks from downtown. Nice little room with tv and bathroom.

The room was a bit smelly (didn’t bother too much but was noticed) although there were not that many people in the room and we left the window open during the day it had a weird smell
