The candle scent that the last guest leg on for 3 days prior to our arrival but the room was spotless.

It was like a mini house with beachfront ,great walks on the walkway the beach and very dog friendly. Staff was awesome.

it was in the location that I had wanted, it had beach access and waterfront view. the receptionist was friendly, remembered my name each time I stopped by to ask questions. they upgraded my orginal booking to an upstairs larger room, it was lovely, comfortable and clean, everything I had wanted when I booked.

The kettle was old and smelly.

Simply good. It got everything I needed. We love the outdoor space and the million dollar view. We were there an hour early and they let me check in. Also they fixed the stove right away .

This is a pet friendly hotel, unfortunately some pet owners left their pet(s) in the room alone for hours, very inconsiderate to everyone who had to listen to dogs barking nonstop

We had the impression the facility is going through a period of staff shortage (daily housekeeping was a bit below average).

There was no breakfast option that we were aware of. The location is great. We have been coming here for the last 30 years. We used to come with our children and always enjoyed our stay. It's also an easy trip from Victoria.

Samira, the lady at the front desk, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Large bedroom. Ocean view and access from the terrace. No traffic noise. Restaurants in walking distance. Nearby free miniature golf included.

Older style motel, which suits me fine. Balcony with wonderful views; very quiet location. Right on the beach, large play area for kids, bonfire pit, close to downtown and a large municipal park and playground along the boardwalk, about 5 minute walk. I totally love this place, and will be back.

Minor issues with other guests not respecting smoking distance policies.

This property has a beautiful location, casual vibe, and friendly, caring staff. Beds and linens were very good. View was tremendous from every room, and the large beachfront property was very natural and easy to enjoy. Special requests were so politely acknowledged, and immediately addressed. The hosts are very gracious and welcoming.

The price seemed a bit high considering the motel is very old and tired. I could see there had been upgrades made so they are trying to upgrade it. The welcoming staff were wonderful and the other guests were very nice and welcoming. To me that means they are happy with their situation. We are very middle class so funds are near and dear. Price may be exactly right, and we are just too out of touch to understand that.

Absolutely wonderful location. The sea view was fantastic and having the ability to walk right out of the patio door to the ocean.
