Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesNo host or concierge to deal with problems. Couch covers 1/2 bedroom door. Light bulbs burnt out in lamps. Washing machine had old detergent stuck in port. Dryer was full of damp bedsheets & towels that we dryed AND folded AND put away. Towels were all over the place in no organized fashion. No dish towels. No hooks or shelves in small bathroom. Then they claimed that we stained towels and bedspread ( we absolutely did not) and chipped a plate (i washed and put them back. myself no chips) and refused to give us the deposit back. Our first stay in 2511 was fine but our 2nd in 302 was not. Their cleaning crew lied about the towels and bedspread and there is NO ONE on or off site to talk to.

UkraineI was sincerely surprised and disappointed by the host behavior after check-out. Be prepared that certain amount will be deducted from your security deposit for some crumbs on the table or if dust is found behind the sofa. This is despite the cleaning fee being included in the rental cost. The management company heavily relies on the feedback from the cleaning service and does not pay sufficient attention to the actual condition of the apartment and its equipment. The drain in the bathtub does not work properly, the water drains very slowly, and the bathtub has to be thoroughly cleaned after few hours prior next use. The washing machine has clear signs of black mold accumulation on the rubber lining of the door. The presence of mold not only compromises the cleanliness of the machine but also raises concerns about potential health hazards. We tried to clean the mold, but did not succeed. For that reason we were forced to use laundry service nearby and then bring the clotes back for drying in the drying machine. Drying machine is ok, we have used it regularly, but during its operation lint and debris are released and settleded on all surfaces in the laundry compartment. This condition was found upon check-in. We cleaned same after every usage, but last operation was just before check-out and the host treated the remaining dust as our fault. Plastic cutting board at kitchen was found having black mold and was never used by us. When we shifted the movable part of the sofa, modest accumulation of dust and debris was found on the floor, indicating at least several weeks of insufficient maintenance/cleaning. Of course we have cleaned the floor by ourselves to ensure healthy wellbeing during the stay. The lock handle of the window is damaged and not functioning. Suggestion to new guests: make thorough inspection of the apartment and all equipment/furniture upon check-in and inform the host immediately to avoid further complications.
Very good location, subway entrance is right in the building, convenient for downtown travel and TTC connections. As well the access to the nearest grocery shop is from underground parking inside the building. Kitchen is fully equipped.

CanadaThe property in itself is amazing! The location is great, right on top of Sheppard-Yonge subway. The check in guy was also very helpful. But I'm not sure if the kitchen utensils were cleaned properly because I smelled curry on them, the sofa smells like curry and the bed too... the areas around the door knobs and light switches have hand prints on them. also the laundry machine tube was full of mud. I scraped the laundry-machine sides with a kitchen towel tissue thinking the black things were just stains, but noooo they were slimy moldy mud. They definitely need professional cleaners with much higher cleaning standards.

GermanyDifficult to find the key. Perhaps the number of the condo should be put on a piece of tape on the side of the lockbox. We stayed in condo 302. Disappointed that the hot tub and steam bath were closed. This should definitely be put in the ad for the condo. There is already some damage in the condo to the walls and. That there was some water damage on the floor. We took photos and video on arrival .
Key for the apartment was difficult to find. The apartment was a nice space and suited our needs. Hot tub and steam sauna were closed unfortunately. This should be put in the advertisement. The ladies sauna was open. This very close to the metro, and where we needed to do our business

United StatesInternet was terrible. I do not recommend at all if you need to do any work, any video calls, or any internet browsing. We ended up having to go to the nearby internet Cafe and nearby coworking space to get things done. Secondly, the host only provided minimal amenities (aka 2/3rds empty toilet paper). When we asked for where we could find more we were told to go buy it ourselves.
Apartment was cleanly and the check in process was smooth (if a tiny bit complicated). Location was very convenient to both airport and to trains going downtown.

United StatesThe floor was not properly cleaned. The light in the guest bathroom could not be turned on and the staff only came to fix it on Day 3. The unit has a very nice view but all the windows are very dusty including the ones that can be easily cleaned for the balcony. There was only one bottle of body wash (no soap) for two full bathrooms. Cheap Shampoos and toilet papers for the price we paid. Also, one of the cleaning baskets of the dishwasher was stuck and couldn’t be pulled out, which made the loading/unloading awkwardly inconvenient.

CanadaHad a lot of trouble collecting key, It was not in the drop box. Had to make several phone calls to get help. After 3 false attempts to get a key I was finally given the proper code for an alternate drop box. This made my entry about an hour late. Strangle enough, the head house keeper came by the apartment with my key about 10 minutes after I had obtained the housekeeping key to gain access. Then I discovered that the internet router would not let me sign on my Apple devices. Again, a phone call and a suggestion that did not help. Finally gave up on this problem since I do have a good phone plan. There were not just a few towels left in the dryer. It was crammed full of towels, bedding, etc. There was no pool available according to the regular residents. No indoor pool they knew of, Outdoor pool was empty. Sauna, hot tub and steam room were locked up. Directions to leave key fob on table when exiting did not work. In order to access the parking garage one needed a key fob. Had to go to car, exit parking garage with car and then go back up to room to return key fob. Almost scared the cleaning lady out of her skin by my unexpected re-entry. This is a very noisy area despite the fact that the apartment is 23 stories up. Considering that there was a street murder a block away during our stay I would not consider this to be a safe area. It would really be great if a real live person were to meet guests as they arrive to cut down on hassles.
It is a self serve unit. No breakfast included. Kitchen was good. Shopping for food is very convenient because there is a grocery store right in the building. Lots of restaurants near by. Subway entrance is also part of the building which makes travel in Toronto easy. Car park was underground and good. Apartment was comfortable. Very nice to have had 2 full bathrooms. Met some very helpful residence who helped me figure out how to use the elevator key fob and showed me around the common area on the second floor. Balcony was a great place to sit in the evening. Too noisy during the day due to construction.

CanadaDespite being a non smoking facility, there was a noticeable cigarette smell. I contacted customer service about it and they say it may be from the ventilation, but there was a couple burn marks in the bathroom. I wish they offered some kind of compensation because that wasn’t pleasant. The shower heads need to be soaked overnight because they throw water everywhere and because of that the stream is not fun.
Well located with a great view, clean and confortable, self check-in, functional kitchen with all the necessities, access to whole food without having to fo inside, the ability to bring my dogs (for an extra 20$ a night per dog), lots of stores and restaurants at proximity.

CanadaWe were disappointed by the excessive paperwork and bureaucracy involved in the check-in process. Obtaining the door key was a convoluted process that took an unreasonable 30 minutes. The check-out process was equally frustrating. The building design required us to leave the key on the counter, but without the key fob, we couldn't access the parking garage. This forced us to walk five floors from the distant parking lot, making the entire system highly inconvenient and poorly designed. To make matters worse, a hidden fee was added to our bill after registration, which was not disclosed beforehand. This lack of transparency and the unexpected charges were disrespectful to us as customers. Overall, we were very disappointed with the service.
