On the third party booking site it indicated there would be a restaurant but when we arrived on a Tuesday we were told that this time of the year the restaurant was only open Thusday through Sunday so we had to drive 10 miles for a dinner. Otherwise we loved the place.

Loved everything about this place, right on the lake, immersed in nature with Bancroft just a quick drive away. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely clean, the beds comfortable. Mike is a great host, friendly and ready with tips for hikes and activities. The fire by the lake in the evenings was a very nice touch. On our last morning we also had breakfast in the resort's restaurant, cooked by Mike, and it was delicious. Plenty of parking space. Only regret, not being able to spend more time at the resort, chilling and enjoying the scenery.

Fully and newly renovated. Very nice and clean. King size bed was awesome. Lakeview and balcony/deck was very nice. Lots of parking. Enjoyed nature and walks. Amazing place to stay. Will come back.

My only issue was finding the place at night. The GPS tends to show up to 3 different locations. I recomend giving Mike a call and he can tell you exactly how to find him

supper clean , all newly renovated and modern with that peaceful country feel. Mike was awesome, showed me a couple of the cabins, also new, clean and cosy. really a great place for family especially if you have a picky partner.

We loved staying in the hotel! It was cozy, comfy, and very clean. The bed was amazing, and it was also very quiet through the night. The staff was very nice as well. We'll definitely be back!

Not very often you arrive in your room and the online pictures are exactly the same as the room itself. The front desk and kitchen staff were amazing. Our room was very quiet and well kept. It's a perfect place for peace and quiet.

The location at the lake was great, really peaceful and relaxing. Balcony with comfy chairs to enjoy the complimentary tea outside with a view to the lake between the trees. Very nice and helpful staff. We highly recommend to stay here for a couple of days

We didn't have water the morning that we were leaving but it was quickly fixed. I found that the restaurant breakfast was overpriced for the portions received.

The property was beautiful. We really liked the proximity of our room to the dock, the free coffee bar and the nightly campfires. We unfortunately didn't get a chance to use any of the water toys as we were in the area for a family event.

It doesn’t have an ice machine, although you can buy a bag of ice. We were in the position that we were only there for a night so we didn’t have a cooler. The staff were helpful in getting us a bit of ice (enough for 2 drinks) but we ended buying a bag of ice although it was way too much. Ice buckets and an ice machine would be an asset for this property.

The view of the lake, the room was clean and modern. The staff were friendly.

Staff is very attentive. There is a restaurant onsite with exceptional home made food with exceeded my expectations. The room and bathroom was bright and clean. Excellent location just outside of Bancroft.
