Next time would pick room with a second bed. Could’ve had blankets and/or a sofa bed to maximise space.

There were always people at the front desk, so I'm not sure why we were required to register online ahead of time. I did, however, very much appreciate that a Sonder employee helped me through the process, when not having a cell phone proved to be problematic in completing the registration process on my own.

I chose this hotel, because of its location, the reasonable price, the two separate bedrooms in the flat, and the kitchen. The hotel is centrally located. You are right by Concordia University. I felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood and appreciated that it was close to the Metro. There is a parking garage right across the street. We were on the 15th floor with a great view of our part of the city. The two elevators were always working. Nice refrigerator with a freezer in the kitchen. The shower worked well. I would definitely stay here again. The Sonder staff working online, on the phone lines, and in person were all very cordial and helpful.

3rd bedroom is super small: We rented the 3 bedroom, the first 2 bedrooms were actual bedrooms but the third one is really just a walled-in box within the living room with a sliding frosted glass door. It was fine because my 4 yr old stayed there and he is only small. But just a word of caution if you were all adults planning to rent the 3BR apartment, the 3rd room is super small and it's not an actual room. There were no photos online of this 3rd bedroom, so it was a bit misleading. Dishwasher had an issue: The dishwasher was not working for several days as the water was not draining. This was eventually fixed after we reported the issue, we didn't have any problem after that. The maintenance worker (plumber) to fix the problem had to be outsourced from 3rd party as they don't have in-house staff who are certified to do that, hence the wait in getting it fixed. Steam room out of order: Amenities wise, we stayed during winter so outdoor pool & tub were not open - therefore I have no reviews on that. However, the steam room was out of order during our whole stay of 25 nights, the dry sauna was working though. The gym seems decent too (always had at least 2 or more people working out). Appliances: We brought our own vacuum cleaner, air fryer and espresso machine as we couldn't live without these items for 25 days. If you're a coffee lover and thinking of staying long term, keep in mind the coffee machine they include in the room is those drip coffee maker type thing. Since you're supposed to clean your own place (it's not serviced), the absence of a vacuum cleaner makes it hard to keep clean (only a broom was provided) - good thing we brought our own.

We stayed for 25 nights while our home was not livable due to renovations, so we really got to know this place quite well. General: Modern looking with open concept living-dining-kitchen space. Really high ceiling which made it feel extra spacious. Great for us and our two kids, sizeable balcony too but we didn't use it as it was winter. Walls/paint: Some reviews mentioned scuff marks and the need for a refresh paint job - whilst I agree with those reviews, I was not bothered by that as we stayed with 2 young kids (2&4 yo) and I would have been more stressed out if every surface was perfect because I'd fear my kids would ruin it. Beds/linens: The beds were very comfortable, and linens/towels were high quality. Very impressed with the bedding and linens provided. I even made note of the brand they use for bed sheets as I wanted to get the same ones for my house. Cleaning supplies: We could always get dishwashing tablets and washing machine tablets from reception when we ran out, but they only give out 2 at a time. There are also toilet rolls, bin liners and paper towels stocked downstairs for you to self-serve when you run out. The amount of cleaning spray provided in the kitchen to wipe countertops was enough too for our whole stay. TV/internet: Internet worked well, no issue during our stay. TV had Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. already - just sign in with your own account. Rubbish/recycling: You take your rubbish (compost included) and just chuck it down the chute on your floor. Recycling have to be carried to the basement and placed in the special designated bin for recycling.

Location is central, easy walking distance to many areas. I suggest you park in a garage for your stay as you’ll only need your car if you’re traveling out of town.

It’s a little noisy at night. Dogs are barking and construction sounds are painful to listen to. On the other hand it’s in the core of Montreal so I’m sure it’s like this everywhere.

The only complaint would be that the apartment looked a little worse for wear with many marks (including crayon!) on the walls. But this did not affect the quality of our stay.

The paint of walls in the bathroom were not clean, it makes one think that it is not clean. There could be additional hangers in the bathroom.

The flat’s windows only have blackout blinds, which in our stay stayed almost always closed for privacy. It would have been nice to have an in-between option, as to keep enjoying the lovely luminosity while being protected from prying eyes at the university building across the street

New building with gym and terrace, amazing location in a lively spot near the metro station, great structure, clean and spacious flat equipped with all appliances one might need. Honestly, we were very positively surprised and will be looking for other Sonder properties in the future!

Apartment was not cleaned well when we entered. Makeup was on light switches, counters weren't clean. I had to clean them myself. We were there 8 days with only 2 washing pods for the dishwasher. If we wanted more we had to pay yet there weren't enough dishes to go for more that a couple days before washing. Of course we could wash by hand, the dishwasher was convenient, especially since our days were quite busy. Since we stayed 8 days I felt we should have been provided with a few more supplies free of charge. We received what the average person staying for 2 days received.

Our only issue was that we were not aware that the bed was a Murphy bed. We expected the apartment to be small and a bit crowded, but being in our late 50s we didn't expect that we had to pull our bed out each night from the wall. Maybe it was stated somewhere, but we didn't see it. It's not a deal breaker, but just thought I'd mention it.

The location is perfect! It is close to the Guy-Concordia Metro station as well as numerous bus stops. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Check in and check out were super simple. The place is quiet and clean. If we ever return to Montreal we'd definitely stay here again, but in a bigger apartment :)

The apartment could be a bit cleaner. Nothing against the staff - it's just that the furniture could use some deep cleaning.

The location is incredibly convenient. We were surrounded by restaurants and cafes so we had plenty of food options. The metro stop Guy-Concordia is also just around the corner on the same block so you have easy access to the metro system to get you anywhere in Montreal. Sonder customer service was great - they answered my questions in a timely manner and were very friendly.
