Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThere was a TV, but no channels available. TV was there for chromecast purposes (effectively worthless for an international traveller where streaming apps are geo-blocked. That was the only negative for me, but its not like I was sitting for long times in a apartment
Location was fantastic - super clean room. Never saw staff (no need to). Amazing shower. Comfy bed. heaps of storage (was not required, but drawers/cupboards were available). Check in was seamless with clear instructions on how to access the building/floor. Plenty of good places to get a bite of food, or drink nearby. This was the second time using Sonder apartments - so coming into this trip, it was a little bit of a risk for me not knowing what to expect, but it was a positive experience. This place in Montreal was great

Old Port location that was a great base for our exploring. Clean and modern. Sonder has an interesting concept - no front desk, self check in, no phone, only streaming of entertainment from your device to TV, which all equates to good value for price.

AustraliaMy one disappointment was that the room didn't have a mini-fridge or kettle. That would have made my stay perfect if I could easily make my own hot drinks, and keep leftovers and cold drinks cold. Be warned there is no early access unless already paid and pre-arranged in the Sonder app. You can enter the building 30-60 minutes early, but your actual room is locked until the exact minute of your check-in time. But you're surrounded by great cafes and restaurants if you need to kill some time with your luggage still in hand.
Location is a little difficult to get to if you're walking a large suitcase due to all the cobbled streets and damage to sidewalks, etc. from age. However it's definitely worth the effort. Sonder St Paul likes in the middle of Old Montreal, and up the quieter end from what I could tell. It was easy to walk out the door and find gorgeous old buildings and monuments. A short walk to several stations, to Notre Dame, to the port, to the artist's quarter. Surrounded by great food options, and maybe 10 minutes walk to the nearest IGA if you want to buy your own groceries. The room is large and clean, with several helpful items like earplugs and a white noise machine. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also larger than most hotels, I felt a bit spoiled.

ItalyNo one to talk to, everything is automated, no reception, no help. Room could’ve been a little bit cleaner overall, there was no fridge, no coffee machine but, above all, there was no shower door. Everytime I showered, it was a mess. How can you not put a sliding door?

Switzerlandcould have been cleaner (rather dirty/dusty floors), the curtains could have provided more darkening - it was very bright in the room from the early morning (sleeping mask would be also a great option); storage lockers could be at the property (we used one of the Stash locations and worked well, but it would be more convenient to have the option on premise)

It's a very lovely place if all you are looking for is a place to keep your stuff safe, have a nice room to sleep in, and take a hot shower. My room did not have anything extremely fancy but I was not looking for that. I was just looking for the basics in a fantastic spot and that is exactly what I got so I was very happy.

United StatesThere was no breakfast offered. The building was not well-marked. There were no staff or resources on site to assist with questions or concerns. Additionally, I had temperature-sensitive medicine that was unable to be kept cold due to lack of refrigeration in any of the rooms and lack of kitchen.
The room was very clean. I liked the number system to get into the room and felt it was very secure. The bathroom was very nice and had clearly been redone recently.
