Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

EstoniaI might be an idiot, but there was no large ceiling light. Combine this with the fact that my windows were facing the inside of the courtyard and the room felt cosy, but eternally dark.
The room in and of itself was excellent and exactly what I needed for the week. Saved me tons of money by making myself some toast in the morning instead of paying for breakfast I wouldn't perhaps even want every morning.

The Ottawa Arlo had an extensive laundry, a very generous baggage area, two communal rooms and washrooms apart from the bedroom, which had a fully equipped kitchen. The laundry area was also complimentary. Staff were on site and available until 11pm at night.

United KingdomA common bugbear in hotels - the blinds didn't cover all the window frames so the room was never properly dark. There were no lights in the 'living' area except for the dazzling spotlights - it would have been better if the bed and chairs were swapped around to make use of the natural light. The only plugs I could find were grouped in the kitchen area and none had the new industry standard USB ports so I had to buy an adapter but these are just niggles I would book again
The room was a good size and in a convenient location - there were earplugs on the bedside tables but, even as a light sleeper, I never needed them. The check in/out was all done online, that's why I haven't rated the staff because I never needed to speak to them. Booking a room with a kitchenette was a great choice.

United KingdomPayment verification process is confusing, not the normal "Verified by Visa" but scanning your ID and take a selfie by the credit card holder, which does not have to be the person, who will use the studio. This was not clearly mention and caused some headache.

CanadaThe reception desk was managed by a group of students which was not an issue. But you could tell they were not trained, it looked like it was a summer job to them. It did not negatively impact our stay at all. It is just something to maybe improve. They still did the job, but were not client-focused at all.
Stayed over the weekend with my 2 young kids. Spacious apartment with all necessary amenities. Very comfy beds. Right in downtown so location is perfect. Also close to the opera's parking which is convenient if you are driving in.

Singapore--Bedroom is good size but the queen bed is small for us. -- sound proof is not perfect but they provided us ear plugs. -- i found the verification process before checking in kind of worrisome because you need to send in ID with pic, and take selfie of face to verify. -- although everything can be done through Sonder app, including launching mobile key and check out, it feels cold and no human touch. But there is staff at the reception and they were actually welcoming and helpful.
--equipped with everything we needed. Full kitchen, pots and plates, knives and scissors. No daily housekeeping but they prepared more than enough towels for us to change clean ones. -- free use of washers and dryers and washing pods. And there are about 5 washers and 5 dryers! --location is good. 6 mins walk to Parliament Hill, 7 mins walk to CF Rideau shopping Mall, and many buses nearby.

CanadaThe kitchen has the basics (vegetable peeler needs to be added) but the counter space is really small. I rearranged the furniture, using an end table to park things on. Be warned that if you want your rooms cleaned, it's a flat $90. They provide cleaning supplies so you can do your own.
This is the perfect combination of the best features of airbnb, hotel, and hostel. They really figured out the things travelers actually need, like a working kitchen, free laundry, a place to socialize, and not being troubled by incessant cleaning staff.

CanadaMy room had a view of the neighboring office building only. Which limited privacy and required having the shades drawn. One recommendation is that they include a USB plug since most devices need that kind of outlet.
The location was excellent - close to the Parliament Bldgs and to the National Arts Center. The room itself was spacious, with a real kitchen - full fridge, stove. Even a tiny dishwasher.
