Perfect boutique property close to Algonquin Park with absolutely gorgeous grounds anchored by an idyllic quaint private lake. An wonderful family owns and operates the property. It’s my favourite place in Algonquin, and I’ve stayed pretty much everywhere along Highway 60

Was told I couldn't keep my bicycle indoors (brought for an Ironman race I was participating in, and too valuable to be left in my vehicle).

Convenient location on Hwy 60, just 20 minutes from Huntsville. Lovely gardens overlooking a small, scenic lake with complimentary paddleboards, kayaks and canoes supplied. Peaceful, short nature trail on site. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Reminiscent of the very best of summer cottage life.

Quaint accommodation, very clean and good choice for couple and families. Very helpful staff! Beach is small but offers good swimming and use of kayaks was a nice touch. Nearby Algonquin park and Dwight Beach are fantastic day trips. Be sure to visit Oxtongue Rapids about 10 min away.

Hiking trails on property were over grown, which made it a turn off to go walk the trails.

we wish we could stay longer!

incredibly well looked after gardens,beautiful complimentary lakeside activities (kayaks and paddle board). The rooms were very clean and comfortable and had everything practical and what we needed. We loved waking up everyday here, to a beautiful lakeside view and having a lovely breakfast at the family-run restaurant on the property. We will be recommending this stay to everyone we know!

Quiet, relaxing location within easy reach of local amenities. The resort has a beach and guests have free use of canoes and paddle boards, great for relaxing after a busy day. Thanks for another wonderful stay.

the only problem I had, was how close the property was to the main road. It makes it hard to relax in the water with cars wizzing by.

The only problem: The mattress was too soft. Very softer than usual mattresses in hotels. I couldn’t sleep on it.

The property is really well managed, it’s immaculate, the grounds are really well maintained, breakfast was delicious, the free use of kayaks on the lake was a such a treat, it’s a beautiful setting and you can just tell that the family who run the hotel have a real passion for it and work really hard.

This resorts is owned and managed by a very friendly and customer driven family. We stayed there for one night on June 14, 2023 and found the hotel very clean, rooms well equipped and the grounds really amazing. In the morning when we tried to make coffee but the in-room coffee maker didn’t work well so I went downstairs to their restaurant for coffee and besides apologizing profusely- they provided complimentary coffee to both is us. When I wanted to buy the Algonquin park pass - they even provided that free of charge as an ‘additional complimentary’ gift because of our minor inconvenience. Things can always go wrong in a hotel but it’s how one handles an issue makes all the difference. This hotel management definitely set themselves as above the competition. I would definitely recommend Springs Lake Resort to anyone!

The owners was very kind and gave us a thorough rundown of the place. The breakfast was also great and hearty and the rooms were much more spacious than I had initially thought. They even had a bug swatter which helped immensely at night!

We absolutely loved our stay at spring lake. The location is great, so close to Algonquin park. The lake is beautiful and we loved going for a swim and going out on the canoe. The room was really comfortable and clean. Nice to have a coffee machine and a little fridge to store some food. So nice to sit outside the room in the evenings and watch the birds on the bird feeder. The owners were so, so friendly! They were helpful with park passes and recommendations and the home cooked breakfast was delicious! We loved our visit and hope to visit again in the future!

Clean room, hot shower and air conditioning. The owner goes out of his way to make sure guests have all they need. Beautiful lake setting with free canoe use and even towels for the beach.
