We booked a queen/king bed. Got a double. Parking a little down the street.

Good value. Room was decent sized. Had fridge. Had elevator, very close to downtown which had good restaurants and breweries. Very resourceful college in figuring out how to make some money over the summer break.

Wifi was connected but acting weird during my stay. I would have appreciated a reference sheet in the room (what cable tv channels are there? What time is check out? How do I get to dining or the gym or other facilities?) I really enjoyed my stay, though!

Would be nice to have been told or have a handout at check in with when the pool would be available for guests/recreation as we didn’t realize until arriving that the times would be pretty limited and not really good for children. The beds being quite firm and uncomfortable is really the only complaint we would make.

Excellent value for money. The the facilities were above expectations and you can’t beat the location in Antigonish.

The property was great, but two different staff unlocked my door and came in while I was in there, without knocking. The first staff I can see, as she thought I checked out, but I had another nights stay. The front desk apologized their error. The second staff came in later in the afternoon and I was in the bathroom. Thank goodness the door was shut. I heard him open the door. I thought it was my son, so I wasn’t alarmed and said Hi. He said oh I think I have the wrong room. I said ok. He didn’t leave. I called out hi, what can I help you with. He said sorry wrong room and then left. I was quite shocked as I was still in the bathroom with the door closed. Nothing was touched. I assume it was a staff person, but if it wasn’t then someone else had access to my room. My door was locked, so whoever it was had a keycard. I didn’t tell the front desk as I was trying to get ready to go out at the time. I just let it go, but it really is important that people knock first. Neither staff did, they just barged in.

Parking wax a little far away, approx. 100 meters, air conditioning was not easily adjustable (not sure if I could control it)

They had 2 separate rooms, I was not expecting that, when you have children that goes on my list (I could take a quiet night break after a long driving). They had a full refrigerator. Hot water, comfy beds.

I was very surprised to be greeted by the smell of cannabis filtering down the hallway on the first floor on both days of our stay. This was really unacceptable & disappointing. As an alumni of the university I found this particularly disheartening. We did mention this to front desk staff.

The facility was very clean and washrooms well supplied. Kitchenette came in handy for morning coffee. It was quiet, & the location is great; walking distance to downtown area. The staff were friendly & helpful.
