We actually were bumped to Windsor by Hoco just a few days prior to our trip. I had booked a suite with kitchenette which by the photos, looked much nicer. The room we got was clean, bathroom incredibly small, but pretty bare bones. No price adjustment was received. Won’t stay or choose Hoco again.

The step from the side walk into the building was kind of too high for me( I am a senior with a tricky knee) and my nephew uses a cane also had some difficulty entering the building initially. Parking was an issue when it came to unloading and reloading luggage, for my husband and I who are seniors and travelling with our nephew who uses a cane. We managed but it would have been nice to have parking available closer to the apartment

The location was perfect. We did a lot of walking about for food ,shopping attractions and entertainment. I was aware of the stairs when I booked however the step into the entrance of the building was a little high. We managed to get use to the height over the few days we were there, but the step into the building is kind of high

The only possible downside was the very loud bar outside with patio that could be heard late into the night.

The entrance stairs were fairly steep and numerous.

Comfortable and well equipped 2 br. We are vegetarian and so appreciated having fridge and microwave etc. it was in the centre of Stratford and easy to walk around town and to Avon River. Staff were friendly and available.

Some tea towels in kitchen; Better directions to parking area. Earlier communication of room codes- After seeing the play - had to try to reach the staff to get access to codes to get in. Extra toilet paper TV channel guide Sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

There was no breakfast included. Location was terrific- parking not so much. The place we were told to go to - did not exist. Kitchen was good.

At the time of booking my stay , I asked for a late check out. While we were getting dressed for our day , the door unlocked. Soon after a staff member came and opened the door asking us to get out. I told them that I had a late check out and a minute later another staff member called me and told me that I had to leave as the cleaning service was there to clean the room. I once again told the staff on the phone that we had a late check out . She said that they were not not aware of that and said we had to leave. The communication among staff is inadequate. I asked for a late check out and somehow they messed up . Because of their mix up , I had to get 3 kids ready to leave in 15 minutes. Unacceptable.

The front door lock didn’t seem secure, there was a large hole instead of a lock. It was hard to reach the staff, they took a long time to respond to our issues and then didn’t solve them, they just kept apologizing.

Booking had a couple mistakes and communication was a little difficult to get it corrected. The deposit was requested 2 days before arrival even though the reservation was already paid in full. This policy should be clearer and more timely.

Air conditioners were noisy.

Location was perfect for access to the theaters. Most shops, too, were within a few blocks. Even though parking was limited up close, there was a parking lot within a short distance that was free.

Because of its central location, the property is very noisy. It is almost directly above a bar where many of the patrons gather outside. Traffic noise is also an issue. One of the pull out couch mattresses needs to be replaced ( unacceptable). When we moved the couches so that both couches could be opened, it was clear the property needs more thorough cleaning. We needed to request coffee supplies and ran out of toilet paper and dish soap.

The location of this property is fantastic! It is soooo convenient for enjoying all that Stratford has to offer. The apartment itself is also very beautiful and well appointed, with all necessary kitchen implements. The beds in the bedrooms were also very comfortable.

Unfortunately, we discovered that the bathroom sink was quite clogged, we only had a half roll of toilet paper with none anywhere else in the apartment. Being 4 women, a couple more facecloths would have been much appreciated as well.

We loved the apartment and the location was exceptional. The apartment was right across the street from the theatre and within walking distance of everything. We all agreed we would come again.

Would have been nice to have coffee and milk for the morning. Had to go around the corner and purchase K pods for the coffee maker and milk.

Really great location across from the Avon Theatre. Close to restaurants, shops and hiking trails. Large apartment with two bedrooms and one washroom. Lots of light from windows and two skylights in ceiling.

The furnace was not working and it was cold on arrival. However, the proprietor was quick to provide an extra space heater so I was able to be relatively comfortable once there was a heat source in each room.

The suite was quite comfortable and in a great location. You do need to be able to walk stairs as there is no elevator.

- It's not a hotel 'suite'. It's more like a old apartment, although it is tidy - 3rd 'bed' is a pull-out couch which is quite lumpy. Some will not sleep comfortably if you need a 3rd bed. And I've backpacked through 45 countries! - The Keurig coffee maker is half-broken: by holding down the top while it brewed, we got a good cup of coffee. Also we were directed to the Cat Café next door for extra coffee supplies, but they closed early when we arrived on Friday at 6:30, so we had to go to a corner store for milk. - Media: we didn't notice until the 3rd day the dedicated controller for the TV service, SMART.CA (not a household name). There is no Netflix or Amazon Prime available, not that this is expected, but neither could I cast my phone or laptop to SMART.TV despite it apparently being a Google Chromecast-compatible (I'm a tech consultant, and the error was unusual and offered no work-around). There is an HDMI port available, so if your device supports HDMI, you could display your entertainment service on the big screen. - The staircase up one flight is very steep. Not practical for some guests.

- Location, location, location! We could walk to three of Stratford's four theaters - Space: big living room w adjoining kitchen, two dedicated bedrooms, and large but less comfy loft with pull-out couch - Price - The two bedrooms had super comfortable mattresses according to my co-travelers - Helpful host: Carl was very flexible and helpful - Free parking albeit a block away (down the lane past the reassuring police station :) - Amazing Indian restaurant next door, with terrific Indian food (if that's to your liking), and surrounded by wonderful, large, extravagant blossoming flowers - very pretty and romantic.
