Beautiful place, great breakfast, lovely owners, heated pool! Like a cottage in the woods right on the water but it’s only a 15 minute drive to downtown. Wish we could have stayed longer.

For us, the price was a bit of a stretch. However, we would stay there again in a heart beat … and definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Tom & Eva were excellent hosts. The location/view was phenomenal! The breakfasts were outstanding!

No AC, but there was a ceiling fan, and we kept all the screened windows open for the cool sea breeze.

Just gorgeous location overlooking the ocean from a high hillside; we spent hours gazing from our window in our room - watching the boats go by, and taking joy in the birds, chipmunks, and a resident raccoon who nightly roamed the deck below us. The room was sparkling clean and the breakfasts were made to order, delivered to our room, and delicious! The innkeepers are delightful! The pool is worth noting (though we didn’t use it). It perches like an infinity pool overlooking the sea and is heated for your comfort.

The only thing I’d recommend and is a decaf tea option. Nothing we didn’t like.

Absolutely everything! So inviting, comfortable, and relaxing. The hosts and breakfast’s were amazingly too. So friendly and accommodating. We had just rode in on a motorcycle through 3 hours of cold rain and they did everything to help us warm up and feel comfortable.

It’s September in Halifax. The weather is unpredictable so for us we were a little cold.

The owners had great energy. They are very kind-hearted people. The property was stunning—a beautiful view of the ocean and quiet. There were lots of options for people with gluten issues like me. Not to mention the bed was so comfy. We would highly recommend a visit here.

The rooms are clean and bright. Eva and Tom who own the B & B are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Eva is a fantastic cook and you will get a good meal to start you day.

It’s a picture perfect spot if you’re looking for that kind of stay, a bit higher end. Building is beautiful. Tucked away, only 20 ish min drive to downtown Halifax. Eva was very kind and had lots of good suggestions on things to do. She also made some small adjustments which helped our stay go very smoothly (we didn’t realize booking.com hadn’t included the taxes - Eva was very gracious about this). Breakfast was incredible every morning. We would recommend 😊

The rooms were a ways outside of Halifax (20 - 30 min from downtown) so if you want to be right in the city, this isn’t the place for you. For us, the quiet, views and comfort more than made up for the extra driving.

Rooms and beds were very comfortable. View was amazing. Tom and Eva were great hosts. I forgot my passport there and they ensured I was able to collect it. The breakfasts were huge and delicious; delivered right to our room so we could enjoy it wearing our comfy robes and looking at the ocean. It was fun to watch Eva feed and talk to the sea gulls and squirrels.
