How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing really...pool opended t 6:30pm and filled up pretty quickly with kids, but it is what it is...
Great room - having a kitchenette with a dishwasher/stovetop is awesome. Room was very comfertable and clean. Had everything we needed. Putting green and pool was a nice to have too. Breakfast was great - a very good spread and variety of items from cereals, to fruits, eggs and sausages and yogurt etc. It is also pet friendly!

It would be more efficient to combine the Staybridge and Holliday Inn breakfasts ( theirs seemed to be better attended). As for the evening social snack, the meal seemed Ok , but it didn’t appear well attended. Suggestion; 1) if the customer have kids ( burgers, fries, Mac & cheese, hotdogs) , otherwise cold cut sandwiches would be fine. (2) a open bar adult only happy hour ( three drinks maximum) between the hours of 9 pm to 12 am . Maybe Karaoke?
The breakfasts were good. Wasn’t a fan of the scrambled eggs, they were not very fluffy, but the omelettes were always great. Loved the fruit salad and yogurt.

That there isn't a restaurant. The option is to drive down to Niagara on the Lake and you don't always want just fast food across at the pit stop.
We enjoy staying at the Staybridges because it feels more like an apartment as opposed to a hotel room.

More fruit and a fruit salad would have been nice a t breakfast. The pictures show more fruit and a fruit salad, so was disappointing.
The King Suite with its kitchen was fantastic. Really nice room. Desiree, the girl who checked us in, was incredible.

On the second day, a person at the front wasn't as nice as the first day and gave us different information about using the breakfast area with pets (on the first day she said as long as my dog is in a carrier and doesn't bark he can be with us) way she talked wasn't nice enough but it was early in the morning and most of the experience was great so we went back to our room to eat our meal.
On the first day, a person at the front was nice and welcoming the place is spacious and clean and has all kitchen equipment.

Not much. It would be better if coffee and hot water are available in the lobby/breakfast area all the time.
The room looks clean. Breakfast and evening social are good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was exactly as described and very clean. The hotel was very quiet and we were not disturbed at all and had a great sleep in the comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good and check in and and check out went hassle free.

We make a habit of folding bath towels (after allowing them to dry) with a view to using them again. The staff took the used towels away and left fresh towels. This could improve the ecological impact of visits to the hotel.
The room was spacious - a small apartment - with living room, kitchenette and bedroom. And, of course, a bathroom (shower only no bath tub). Lots of drawer space and a good sized cupboard. We were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the room service (cleaning) was provided daily. This is no longer common and we appreciated it. The cleaners were pleasant and one, in particular, had a fabulous sense of humour.

Housekeeping needs to do a better job of cleaning the bathrooms. The sink overflow hole was visibly dirty. For the kitchenette, the cutlery and utensils need to be changed. Also, the sofa bed was not comfortable for a child to sleep in because it was too thin.
The breakfast offerings were exceptional. The suite facilities were great and the bed was comfortable.

The location. They had a road construction going on in front of the hotel, and it was a little bit challenging, navigating there, especially coming from a different country.
