I’d suggest a side table on both sides of the bed, with USB inputs or plugs.

This is a quirky hotel tucked away near the river. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the rooms since the exterior is so unique looking (painted black, it’s almost like an English Inn). The room was so cute! Love the blue accents. Nice big fridge. And even a microwave! I didn’t realize breakfast was included and it was excellent. Very nice dining room with booths and big windows. Everything was very clean. The front desk staff were super kind and helpful!

It looked like a wonderful breakfast, but there were not enough seats. Also no paper plates available to take to the car, so we grabbed a coffee and hard boiled egg and yogurt. Breakfast was up quite a long stairs, so not good for older people.

Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. The staff was very nice.

One small improvement could be a small bedside table on the other side of the bed. Not a biggie but just handy to have a place to put your glasses and book, etc😊

The Stoke was clean, the staff were helpful, kind and happy! Tge breakfast was fantastic! It was a great stop on our way to Alberta...thanks Stoke employees😊

The room is quite small, even for two people. Close to the train tracks.

Room was small, and second floor is a walk up only. TV remote barely worked.

Breakfast was diverse and well stocked but cooked food lacked flavour. Great way to stock up on a free lunch too. Definitely a full breakfast not just continental like they advertise. Room was very clean and comfortable. Good for 1 night or a home base for adventures.

Mountain view? A stretch. Right on the highway. Inside the 1960’s somewhat renovated rooms? OK why do hoteliers use 6000k glaring white light bulbs in the bedroom and bathroom to make them seem as welcoming as the inside of a 7-11? Or shut off the heat in the cold bathrooms so you have to turn on the hairdryer to warm it up while you’re taking a shower? And poorly installed rattly nasty bath fans? So easy to class up at minimal expense.

Pet friendly, though the $25 fee was tacked on after the booking was confirmed

The mini fridge was really loud at night. The shower makes a high pitch screeching noise after running for 2-3 minutes but doesn't happen all the time.

The room was clean and we enjoyed breakfast in the morning. Don't forget to bring your swimwear if you want to use the hot tub!

Parking access was different - I just prefer parking in front of my room. With two dogs, there is convenient grassy area mid night pees and back area has plenty adventure space.

Staff were all friendly - love the Canadian vibe and breakfast was wholesome! Room amenities were a welcome bonus.

The room is clean and quiet. Excellent TV. Hot tub is a bonus. It's pet friendly. But best of all is the superb free hot breakfast. The breakfast fajitas and fresh grapefruit were delicious and the staff in the breakfast room go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
