Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaThere are some flying inconveniences, that you can find at any Canadian cottage areas.
Property kept in top notch status. Well maintained with vintage spirit inside. Outside pool, Jacuzzi and Sauna - definitely Bonus during the staying. Breakfast menu's are multi-choice and quite tasty. If I have a choice to come back, I definitely will.

CanadaThe room we stayed in was on the smaller side, though we were limited to the first floor due to our pet. However, we were still quite comfortable. The only other thing I wish was available was room service, although I can understand how the rooms aren’t setup for that. You can bring any food you like back to the room, but there is no direct room service. Very minor details and would not deter us from returning!
The Manoir is beautifully well kept, clean, and comfortable. The amenities are lovely and the staff and service was exceptional. The hotel is pet friendly, and the staff took such kindness to our puppy. They even accommodated us with a mini fridge, needed for his food. The food was also delicious, though we only ate in the bar area where we could bring our dog.

CanadaThe restaurant food selection was missing affordable comfort food. The bar closed too early. The fireplace was not working (but they compensated for this :)). 4 pm check-in was way too late for my taste, basically it made our stay feel short and it forced us to find something to do until it was ready. Hallway was creaky, door should be sound-proofed.
Service was very friendly and helpful. View was okay, but location on hill was very nice. Public fireplace was appealing. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was large and recently renovated. Concierge was helpful.

Amazing experience! The property is beautiful with lush gardens, a wonderful heated pool, and a delicious restaurant. The staff was so helpful and welcoming and provided great hiking recommendations in the area. We also enjoyed the little town with nearby bakeries and coffee shops close to the lake.

United StatesWe had to wait until almost 4 for housekeeping. Our bare feet learned the room was not swept or, if it was, it was done hurriedly. Our room was not the best equipped. For instance, we had to hunt down an iron. Also robes were not in the room. Maybe the iron thing was because our room was so tiny there wasn't much place to store it. I mean, it was a small room. We ended up keeping the board in the bathroom. By the way, the bathroom was as large as the sleeping quarters, and it was really nice. As for the robe thing, it wouldn't have been a big deal, except it looked like others had them. So it seemed like we just got overlooked. If that's wrong, my apologies.
The reception and restaurant staff were amazing. Meals were fantastic. Grounds were pretty. Molton Brown bath products were a nice touch. There were some wonderful places in the hotel to sit and read a book. It was a warm, inviting place to relax for a few days. Would definitely stay again, but would make sure to get a larger room next time.

CanadaThere were many fireplaces but they were all gas, of course I would have preferred wood, but the law doesn't permit it!
The place is a restored historic treasure, elegant, refined, and luxurious with the staff to match. The lobby and guest areas were each a theme from when the place was construct but with modern touches. Our room had rich linen, a comfy mattress, and details plentiful from the past.
