Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

United KingdomTea and coffee supplies provided in room wholly inadequate (although this turned out not to be unusual in Canada!), and no other complementary communal facilities provided.
Room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Close to airport with free shuttle service (not a great location for Toronto city though). Plenty of on site parking available. Nice Lounge Bar open in evening with good food and reasonable pricing, plus Denny's restaurant for breakfast and fast food (expensive).

CanadaI had difficulty sleeping because the room was too warm for my comfort, and the climate control system in the room cannot be set below 18°C and cannot be shut off (it is always running). The 2 USB charging ports in my room were not working. When booking I requested to check-out at 14:00, they responded to the message saying they confirmed for free. At check-in they confirmed the message but said I must call the front desk the next day to make sure. I did so, and they told me it would impose a $25 charge. It was not a huge inconvenience for me at the time, but I think I was misled about this.
The room is well designed, furnished including amenities, and very clean. The Lounge (restaurant) is very comfortable and serves great food and drinks (4 out of 5 stars). The staff are fairly polite and attentive. The Denny's restaurant is open 24 hours every day which is a lifesaver for travelers on different time zones or schedules and serves many very filling options of tasty American style food.

United KingdomThe lighting in the room could have been better. There was only one ceiling light near the entrance of the room and 4 lamps to light the sleeping area and the separate seating area.
Staff at the hotel were wonderful. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable which is what I needed for a long layover. The shuttle service offered by the hotel was also a nice touch. I also enjoyed a visit to the adjoining Lobby restaurant - the steak bites were delicious.

CanadaDenny's service, trying to get a room/meal order seemed a bit challenging. We were tired from a long haul flight and the girl on the phone didn't seem to know the menu or room service options. Overall the stay was good tho, will book again.
Room layout was great, a bit dated in some areas but nice clean room overall, very comfy beds. The shuttle was awesome, professional and drivers were excellent. Great location to the airport. Staff was ok, answered my questions.
