The hotel needs an upgrade. The shower was hot and cold, our toilet would run if we didn’t jiggle the handle and our room was terribly hot since the sun blazed in all day. Even with our window open and the blinds drawn it was still very hot. The lake view rooms are much cooler but there wasn’t one available when we stayed. For the price per night you should be getting more. The staff location and food made up for it and we did have a great stay. But remember it’s an old hotel and it shows

The staff here is wonderful and the views from the hotel are amazing. Great access to hiking! The food is also really good. We had room service, breakfast and a dinner at the Lake Louise vista restaurant

resort fees that not optional should be included in quoted price, resort fee didn’t really provide any value other than wifi which fit the cost of the room should be included. parking was expensive

The room has a portable air-conditioner that is really loud when it is turned on plus it does not cool the cool.

We had lake view room. The room was very small and and needs some updates.

The location for visiting Lake Louise is excellent. The dining options were all very good.

Not up to 5 star experience. Need to que up with non guests for restaurants and bar services. Room AC outdated makes lot of noise. No extra blankets or pillows in the room. Even coffee mugs missing eventhough a good coffee machine in room. Windows fitted with nets obstruction of the view.

Restaurants were confusing & extraordinarily expensive, even the most casual dining. The buffet in the Louisa could be made more efficient. Parkade was so dark it was hard to find our car.

Very noisy building works with several cranes digging outside. Scaffolding. Extremely busy with big groups at times

We did not have air conditioning in our first room and the portable could not be used because there was no outlet to the outside. Had to move to another room on the third night for an up charge. Also, we woke up the second morning in the first room to scaffolding impeding our beautiful view from the window of the room that we had paid the for the lake view. Once we were moved to a new room, everything went as we expected with a beautiful view the whole time with air conditioning. Even with the inconvenience at first, we would return.

Staff were excellent, location is amazing, activities offered great! Food was excellent.

No AC in room, not too much of a problem in early May as still cold at night. But come Summer that would be a big problem. Generally the hotel reeks of faded grandeur - they are doing it up, and it needs it. Restaurants need a reboot to - don’t get me started on the Dame Blanche in Alpine Social!

Location, right on the lake, perfect - they probably shouldn’t have been allowed to build it, but it’s almost an historic building so use it. Get a lake view room if you can, it’s worth the extra money.
