the room was not clean on time, I had to wait about 30 minutes the sofa bed was terrible ! with the springs hurt those who sleep on it ! there no blanket for this sofa bed.. I asked to the host, he told me: there is only one blanket for this room!! but once we are rent the room for 4 people, 2 blanket would be mandatory! I got one from the front desk

    the location was good enought.

Additional paid parking was not clearly outlined in the booking website. $25 per night. Though it was convenient. The place was not the cleanest and it had definite wear and tare on the carpet so the nightly charge was definitely too much but it was still comfortable with an amazing view.

Great ski in and out location with friendly staff. Easy check in with key code being sent the week before with all instructions needed re: Parking, ski check in and out, etc. Loved the boot dryer and the pull out couch was very comfortable.

The apartment is a bit tired and in need of a coat of paint, new carpets and generally a bit of love. That said, it’s still a nice place and good value for, money.

Blackcombe is great, so quick to walk across to Whistler village and The Aspens is true ski-in / ski-out. We loved the ski valet too. The apartment is cosy and very relaxing and had everything we needed to cook of an evening. This is the third time we have stayed at The Aspens and will definitely stay again.

The decor is dated and the carpets are... Ick. I suppose that's why it's priced so reasonably but a new carpet would go so far to make this place feel like an absolute diamond.

An amazing value for the area. Check in was really easy, the building is very nice, an easy and beautiful walk to the village. Location is quiet and very beautiful. Having a one bedroom is really convenient and cozy.

Very overpriced for a dated property but the best value I could find in Whistler. Quite scruffy room - tatty furniture, rips in carpet. Other guests shouting and smoking weed all night, although I appreciate that this is not the hotel's fault.

Open air swimming pool, more spacious than a hotel room, good location on Blackcomb Mountain.

Lots of wear and tear. Portable AC with broken exhaust hose (warm air cycled back in the room), blinds with broken draw strings, bathroom exhaust fan wouldn’t turn off, light bulbs needing replacement. Good handyman needed.

Bedroom blinds couldn’t really block bright exterior lights. They were also broken so couldn’t be raised during day. Enjoyed stay but carpet was worn out in places…felt a little run down.

This is a privately owned unit in the Aspens Hotel. You don't checkin at the front desk, you need to get a door code via a message in booking.com before you can get into your room. We didn't know that or receive those details, I had to call booking.com support before getting the message, took about 30 mins on the phone in the lobby. The room is pretty rundown, furniture is beat up, some rips in the carpet. The master bed and pull out couch are both pretty uncomfortable.

Location was amazing, truly ski in ski out, with free valet ski service. Three hot tubs and a pool. A very short walk to the upper village, with restaurants and ski rental access. The room has a small kitchenette which did the job. We were able to get a later checkout after a mixup with door code details. We got a great price so it was worth it.

The room we are staying are rather messy as we arrived at 4:30 pm. It is not clean up yet and smell of bacon. There is only one spoon but plenty of forks. However, all essential equioment and utensil are ready. I supposed that can be improved.

The location for skiing and other winter activities is good and convenient. However under the COVID-19 event and the 'suuny'' weather during our stay the area is a bit quiet and lack of seasonal mood.

Cozy weekend ski getaway by the fire

(These comments are suggestions for the host-but we loved our stay regardless)The apartment is in desperate need of updating. Needs new blinds, carpets, flooring, pans, some of the light bulbs were out, the bedroom closet doors were broken, the bathroom sink leaked, the bathtub didn't drain properly, hair dryer didnt work… Also the bed was quite hard (but after a long day of skiing we didn't notice). None of this took away from the experience and the great location of the spot- but for $300/night I expected it to be a bit less run down! Plus we saw another unit and it had recent renos done and was an entirely different space. Would likely book the aspen again, but would stay in a different apartment!

We had a great weekend at this apartment! It was so cozy and had everything we needed (coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, etc…). Loved the fireplace and patio and all the space. Very old school cottagey vibes! The hot tubs/pools were so nice, the building staff were great, and getting into/out of the apartment was a straightforward endeavor. Loved that you could ski out to the blackcomb gondola and that there was a ski valet. We definitely would book this place again (but probably not the same 437 unit)

It's a dirty dump. Room 437. It was disgusting. Ripped old carpets, tub never drained, mold in bathroom, furniture from 1985, no glasses, coffee pot was broken etc.. And it was storage for owner's junk. There were 3 portable air conditioners with tube hook ups in the small condo . aveda Management team on ground did nothing. Never returning.

The unit badly needs freshening up. The taps leak, the shower curtain rod is rusty, the closet doors are off their tracks, all the dining chairs are wobbly, there are gouges in the carpet, and the lights flicker. There is no information binder in the unit.

Location was unbeatable. Amenities like the pool were great. Front desk staff were helpful.
