We have a room for 3 people: 1 Queen size bed (very good) and a sofa. The bed into the sofa was really not good and not prepared when arriving. Not at the level of the hotel standing.

The rooms weren’t cheap and felt a tiny bit “style over substance” for me. It was missing little things like; Proper mugs in the rooms Spoons for the coffees More counter space in the bathroom Bigger towels

Great location, right by a streetcar / tram stop. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. It was great that you could text the hotel directly with anything you needed.

We found the lighting in the room a bit dull for task oriented activities. Since the hotel is at a busy corner some, who are not used to city noises, might find it a bit noisey overnight. Parking offerings at the hotel are limited.

Excellent location. The immediate neighborhood is great to spend time in plus the area is well connected to the downtown and expressways. Public transit very accessible to the hotel. It is a very beautiful building and the 7th Floor terrace offers amazing views. The staff were very helpful for a variety of questions.

My only complaint - which is out of the hotel’s control- was the constant street car noise..

We loved the record player and records in our room! It was my birthday and what a gift to have Joni Mitchell’s Blue album!! The whole vibe of the hotel feels New York boutique and we loved that! The staff were super accommodating and friendly.

For travellers who aren’t driving there it’s a bit of a hard location to get to

It’s a beautiful place. From the outside you’d never be able to tell how gorgeous the hotel is inside and what it all has to offer.

No real faults on the property, it was a wonderful stay! We found service at the restaurant and rooftop bar to be on the slow side but were not in a rush.

It is an old building so it is to be expected that it is quite loud. You can hear the room next door to you. The room was a little dark as well, I think better lighting could be an easy fix to this. We stayed here because of the location was convenient for us, but I think there are hotels that the value you get for your money is higher, but that is not to say this Broadview wasn't great.

A great funky hotel in the heart of Lesliville. The rooftop restaurant was amazing, and the brunch downstairs was great. If you are staying in the east end it was a great location and was easy for us to access the area with the streetcar right outside the hotel.

We found the lighting poor. The lights in our room were dim to non-existent above the bed. And we found similar at the main restaurant at night. The water system in the bathroom was also tricky, it would stop and start often when using it.

The location. The friendliness and helpfulness of the cleaning staff. Our server at the restaurant. Ease of transportation to and from the hotel. Water and ice facilities outside the room were super handy. The elevator was very quick and we never had to wait for it.

Negative: Check out was noon. At about 12:15 the front desk texted me to ask if we were leaving— I responded “yes we are just now leaving.” We got down to the front desk around 12:30. She charged us $30 for being late by 30 min which seemed a bit rude. Also negative: we are vegan and there wasn’t really anything good for us to eat in the cafe downstairs. We just had coffee. Please increase vegan offerings

Positives:: the room was decorated beautifully and was clean. Loved the record player and the French press . The lobby and cafe were beautiful.

The hotel was described as having sound proofed rooms, they weren’t. That said, they were no better or worse for noise than any other hotel. It would have been nice to have a larger reception area or a separate lounge area to sit in but the rooms were so nice you could manage without.

The location was good for my stay. Very nice hotel, decorated to a high standard. Housekeeping excellent as were reception staff. It was handy having the water dispenser available. I only ate in the bistro, it was a nice space with very attentive staff.
