A beautiful gem of a hotel. Large, luxuriously appointed rooms, elegant public spaces, and beautifully landscaped grounds. Wonderful staff with shoutouts to Bram, Rebecca, and Philip for their exceptional service and attentiveness to even the smallest details of our stay.

Outside pool, but then again I'm from Florida.Inside pools quite satisfactory.

Breakfast was included at hotel and it was exceptional, beautiful patio or inside dining room.Hotel location was perfect for either going downtown or short walk to waterfront park were Stratford festival theatre is located. Personel were all perfect, clerks,room service,restaurant .Could not be better.

Everything was perfect

This hotel is out of this world. The stuff was exceptional and super friendly. We loved the free and fresh cookies. They provided a diaper gennie.

The Bruce Hotel was amazing! The staff (particularly Rebecca) was so nice and thoughtful and all of the little added personal touches like butter tarts when we arrived, fortune cookies at night, helping with dinner reservations was so great! They went above and beyond our expectations. Breakfast included was amazing! Cookie hotline was great! The bed was so comfortable and the black out blinds really helped us get a great sleep. The pool and hot tub was great, clean and private.

limited choices for vegetarian and my only concerns were related to the restaurant. the menu didn’t clarify if the eggs were free range and didn’t mention the provinces of the meat options. gluten free/ vegetarian requirements were limited. staff very helpful when this was understood. I feel more vegetarian options should be available in such a high level restaurant

The hotel was lovely and there were many unexpected perks such as warm cookies delivered to our room, access to a Nespresso machine and milk foamer nearby for morning coffees in our room, gorgeous toiletries provided. Staff was welcoming and helpful. This hotel exceeded our expectations at every turn.

The vegan options were very limited and they had incomplete nutrition profiles for their vegan breakfasts.

Nothing as it is perfect just the way it is from the dining to the rooms to the lobby where you can listen to a pianist. Absolutely amazing!

Impeccable service, excellent dining experiences and a fantastic location. It is truly a beautiful hotel with amenities that are wonderful- love the homemade fortune cookies and coffee service in the morning. We stayed in a junior suite and loved it. The beds are so comfortable and the bathroom is amazing and huge! We loved sitting out on the patio enjoying the garden. Philip was very helpful with dinner plans and answering our questions. This hotel sets itself apart from any other places to stay as it truly is a memorable experience!

Being disabled, it was difficult to actually get in the bed safely. We also found the pillows too large and ended up folding towels for pillows.

The room was beautiful and the bathroom exceptional.

The toilet room door jam was loose from the wall, the toilet room door couldnt lock. The main bathroom entrance had a second door with a functioning lock, and all was fine. Litterally, not another concern the whole time. It was wonderful.

It was luxurious. Modern touches, extremely friendly, extras, extras, and "it's the little things".

Food in restaurant was overpriced, underwhelming and portions were minuscule - one tiny shred of crab on a cracker for $25 as an appetizer with no real remarkable taste experience to make up for the size) - Service was great until during brunch (which was also just a few additional menu items - not really brunch) the hostess came over and said that our free breakfast which we received with our Booking.com booking did not count for this brunch so it would be and additional $25 per person because we did not come before brunch started! The way she approached us was unprofessional, saying it would just be added to our bill, when we said that no one advised us and did not mention the cost when we changed our time to during brunch, she wanted to know the name right away of who did that so she could report him! We said that the people at the front desk were amazing and that this was obviously an issue with booking.com that the hotel did not clearly specify the stipulations and that we were not going to ruin our brunch by giving a name so she could go and blame the poor person at the desk. Then she came out with champaign and orange juice to make up for her rude behaviour but we don't drink. Then she brought chocolates. Which again was an attempt to make up for things along with her apology, but the issue is deeper. She needs more training on how to handle situations, the hotel management and restaurant should get clear on when the free Booking breakfast offer is and communicate that clearly on the booking site and to the hotel staff so that the restaurant staff does not blindside you. We were one of two groups in the restaurant all morning, so maybe the point needs to be addressed that this location may need to rethink what they are offering and the price for a brunch experience in Stratford in the off season. We had a fabulous stay until this one person made us leave with a bad experience that will stay with us for a long time. Her apology to us was not sincere.
