The bathroom was very small and the shower was not easy to use. The shower head could be updated. The bed was very noisy when getting up to use the bathroom during the evening, thus disturbing my wife. The breakfast time was too early and limited to approximately a half hour

When we came through the front door we were greeted by Vittorio, the owner and proprietor. As requested by the sign, we removed our street shoes and walked into an immaculately clean and inviting environment. The entire bed and breakfast is thoughtfully decorated and very warm. Vittorio took us to our room and provided us with information about the bed and breakfast. The room was very nice, complete with a comfortable mattress and a very nice bathroom. We stayed there 3 nights and, therefore, we enjoyed 3 distinctly different and delicious breakfasts. After learning that my wife is lactose intolerant he purchased lactose-free milk to make her scrambled eggs on the second day. Vittorio is an exceptionally considerate host. We highly recommend you stay at the Century House Bed and Breakfast when visiting Ottawa. You'll be most pleased.

Vittorio gave us a brochure containing useful information and recommendations for restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent and everything was very clean. Also, our room was very comfortable. As a bonus, we discovered that we were only a block from the Ottawa Art Gallery and a short walk to Rideau Centre and the Byward Market.

It was close to the Ottawa Mission and walking towards the Shaw Centre as a lone female felt risky, for me.

A wonderful place to stay overnight. The whole house is very lovingly furnished and very clean. The homemade breakfast is a real revelation. The location is very central. This is a beautiful, well kept, clean property with plenty of character. The bed was comfortable, location was great and the host could not have been more helpful providing great recommendations which sets you up with some local perspective. The breakfast was lovely too. Water pressure in the shower is a bit low.

This bed and breakfast is located close to downtown Ottawa, byward market,... We were greeted by our host Vittorio who was very friendly and provided us some nice suggestions for dinner. The rooms are very nice with decent air conditioning. We could park our car next to the house. The breakfast is freshly prepared by Vittorio and is really superb! He gladly handed us one of the recipes to try out ourselves at home. I would strongly suggest this bed and breakfast and would stay there again.

We had a great stay at the Century House B&B. The location is excellent - 10min walk to Downtown - and Vittoria is a perfect host. He gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and what to do in Ottawa. His breakfasts are amazing - different every day and not the run-of-the-mill eggs and bacon. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was on the small side but contained everything we needed.
