WE LIKED EVERYTHING, FROM OUR COMFORTABLE SUITE TO FEELING LIKE WE WERE WELCOME ANYWHERE IN THE HOUSE AND ON THE GROUNDS. OUR HOSTESS, SUSAN WAS A VALUABLE SOURCE OF INFORMATION FOR SCENIC SPOTS, WINERIES AND RESTAURANTS. WE LOVED SUSAN AND EVERYTHING ABOUT HER 'EMPTY NEST'

The breakfasts were made to your personal liking and were most enjoyable. The hostess was most accomodating in every way you could think of to make our stay , the best we have ever had staying at a B&B. Definitely will return.

Absolutely amazing stay, and location. Sunsets were great, and worth the time to catch from the waterfront. Breakfasts were phenomenal. (makes me wish Susan was my mom). My wife and I used Susan's place as a base while we explored PEC for a couple of days. Greatly recommend. :-)

The facility is beautiful, with a great lake view and grounds. The room was well-appointed, roomy, comfortable and well maintained. Susan was a wonderful, warm host and excellent cook. .

Not much at all. Due to Covid, your breakfast dining may be a bit pinched for time, and you can’t exit the dining room directly to the backyard/water but need to go out front and around back. Not a big deal. If you want close to anything, this location is a bit of a drive. But use your imagination and try the local Jerk place or head into Wellington for trendy but good. Tesla owners, this will require some planning as superchargers aren’t easy to find. Overall, small stuff against so much that was perfect.

Susan is a marvellous host. From the sublime high quality cotton sheets to the lovely complimentary wine to the perfect cappuccinos to the multiple spots to enjoy the waterfront, Empty Nest is a winner. The Bayview room water view is expansive and breathtaking. Susan prepares gorgeous hearty breakfasts every day. The location is a short walk to the Millennium trail, which runs for 45 k and our several hours on the trail ran alongside quiet, peaceful marshlands, fields, and farms.

I would have liked a tv in our room

We were there for 3 breakfasts. Eggs Benedict with bacon , the first day, a Gruyere cheese Qiuiche in puff pastry the second day and fluffy waffles with butter and maple syrup the third day , each preceded by fresh fruit and yogurt. Susan, our host is an excellent cook.

How can you complain when you are treated so well by such lovely hosts? We loved it!

The Empty Nest is a welcoming and lovely home to stay in, extremely clean and well managed with a lot of thought given to every detail. This is certainly a place to relax and unwind, no TV, no radio, no clocks! Just enjoy the beautiful views, peace, quiet and serenity to cleanse the soul. Breakfast is amazing, and while there is a set menu, Susan and her daughter Kate try to accommodate dietary issues as and where they can. They were the nicest, kindest hosts and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The bar is set very high here.

Exceptional experience during our 2-night stay. Susan and her daughter were lovely hosts. The suite was very clean, comfortable and quiet. It exceeded our expectations. The homemade breakfast was delicious and they had amazing tasting coffee. We had our privacy and enjoyed the sunsets at the dock. Thank you Susan and Kate!!

Beatiful backyard with marvelous lake view. Very clean. A lot of space. There is apartment style room: double bed bedroom, small living room with sofa, small refrigerator and table and full size bathroom. Bathrobs, towels, beach towels included as well as tasty cappuccino anytime on the day 😀

Nothing, it was perfect

Everything was amazing! Susan is an incredible host and a fantastic cook. She had plenty of recommendations to help us to enjoy our time away from the property. The room was spotless and has an amazing view of the bay. We couldn’t have asked for more from our weekend getaway.

Susan is an amazing host that gives a lot of attention to details. The suite is great and very private while the location on the lake is very calm and the view is stunning. I mostly want to highlight her homemade breakfasts that are very elaborated and delicious. Thank you for the great weekend Susan! We will be back.
