We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaI am a light sleeper and unfortunately since our unit was close to the round about the traffic did keep me awake. I would pick another unit at the end away from the traffic.
Very modern and spotless! The way the units were arranged gave good privacy. Parking the cars out front and not in front of the unit was a great idea!

CanadaNeed another bedside table and lamp in the Master bedroom . Also a chair. A reading lamp in the living room would be a nice addition. Had problem with dishwasher.Apparently we didn’t close the door properly but had certainly tried.
The location. The kitchen facilities as well as the barbeque and deck area. Didn’t use the hot tub…the weather was too hot! The tv and air exchanger were easy to operate. As older folks, this is not always some thing that is straight forward. The reception staff were very helpful and pleasant.

CanadaParking was above the Villa with quite a downhill walk to the front door of the unit. This could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.
Our Villa was modern, clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped as well. The private hot tub was a great place to relax and recharge. The Gables is in a perfect central location, close to Cavendish and Charlottetown is only 40 mins away. It is a very quiet resort and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be returning next year!! 😃

The villa was exceptional. Just the right size for a family of four and it could even fit 2 more people if you have a larger family. It was very clean and everything was provided for use of the dishwasher and washer/dryer. The staff was so helpful at check-on giving us really great advice on places to visit and restaurants. Parking was provided.

CanadaWe selected “pet friendly “ when booking with booking.com. HOWEVER, this property was not necessarily pet friendly. When I called to confirm one week before arrival, wewere told that only SOME of the units at The Gables were DOG friendly and NONE of them were cat friendly. I had to scramble to book an entirely different cabin for my elderly cat (extra $575 that I was not expecting). It worked out fine, but still, pet friendly should mean PET friendly.
Location, modern cottage, full kitchen, comfy beds, nice back deck with hot tub.

CanadaThe twin beds were not the best. Soft and squeaky. Everything else was great. Warning:The master bath shower is very slippery. It needs non slip strips or bath mat.
Decor, two bedrooms and two bathroom. Great for two couples. It is well designed with every villa having their own private patio and outside space.
