Cobwebs outside on the grounds but I’m a bit of a bug phobe so, not a deal breaker. They stayed out of my room so I was happy.

Location was right up the hill from the Niagara River. Could walk there in less than 4 minutes. Room was the cleanest motel/hotel room I’ve ever seen. Loved the retro style of the furniture and the quiet culture. Barely heard the neighboring guests. Simple check in and out via text. Brand new lobby but didn’t even need it because check in and out was mobile. The location was also close to hiking, biking, river tours, a local museum, and great lookout points to see the River. Only a few minutes drive to multiple wineries and farmers markets, and no more than 15 minutes to Niagara on the Lake’s shopping. It was perfect for my stay and I will definitely book there again!

There was nothing we didn't like!

This place has to be one of the best kepy secrets in the Niagara area! Close to both Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Beautiful rooms with vintage decor, beautiful location, so clean and quiet! We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful host. We will definitely be back. Seriously...you won't be disappointed! Thanks so much!!

This app. Keeps moving the cursor back to the beginning with almost every spacebar stroke or predictive word tap. ANNOYING AF!! Booking, pay your IT people what they're worth and get your app running properly!

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds (king) with 4 pillows, bathrooms are well lit, clean, and have "good" toilet paper! Not the scratchy 1-ply crap. I wasn't able to meet the host in person, as I arrived quite late, but s/he texted me to make sure I knew how to check in and get the room key. They were quick to respond by text for other inquiries too. The blinds are in the doors, so look for a round thing to twirl to close them. Balcony is a good size with a nice view of trees & river. King room is *very* large with quirky furniture.

A very nice place to stay. Although there really is no lobby, there are adirondack chairs out front, in the courtyard. The room was spacious, and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, sofa and large window. The air conditioning happily worked very well. I liked the room, as it seemed much more at-home than a regular hotel room. As I arrived late, the owner simply texted informing me that the room key was on the counter in the lobby. Very trusting, small community. Close to the wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake it was the perfect place form me to stay.

Definitely need a car, no cafes or restaurants or even supermarkets nearby. A bonus too!

Beautiful area, halfway between Niagara on the lake and Niagara Falls. Our host was fantastic, with great coffee recommendation (mer the Aussie standards) as well as winery recommendations with great food - thank you!

The bathtub is very small haha!

I was surprised to discover The Kent Motel, where I had stayed before, was not open when I arrived. There was someone on site however who let me know I could have an upgrade to their South Landing Inn across the street. I wish I had been notified in advance because I don't love BnBs but they accommodated all my needs and staying at South Landing was an absolute pleasure. The decor in the lobby/lounge/pantry is so stunning, and the light in every room beautiful (my room had four windows!). There was lovely breakfast options with an eye towards sustainability. As always I love the Queenston location - Away from all the hullabaloo of the NOTL strip, and perfect for biking downtown along the water.

    Not much..

Hotel went out of their way to leave a little welcome gift for our wedding anniversary, room was already warmed up prior to arrival. Stayed in room 201 which had a balcony, which was great to sit out with a coffee in my hand on a cold November morning. You will also see the river a bit if you stay in this room.
