Wanted to extend my stay by a day and was told to do it through booking. I didn’t want to pay a cleaning fee twice since i was extending my stay and was told that I didn’t have to. Once I rebooked they said they would refund me the cleaning fee. NEVER DID!!! The condo itself was nice, but the people in charge not so much! Very hard to communicate and deal with!

The listing said 2 queen beds. It’s a queen and a set of twin bunk beds. The photos were definitely for a different apartment, probably in the same building, but different. A few things need repairs (blinds, a cabinet door), but overall everything was in good shape. The pillows were tiny. I had brought my own so I didn’t care, but they would have bothered me if that’s all there were. We didn’t use enough dishes to warrant using the dishwasher but there was no dish soap, just hand soap. Only paper towels, no kitchen linens. Bring your own facecloths, there weren’t any. Getting into the property was new experience for me - keys were in a lockbox attached to a bike rack on a nearby public property, which felt really sketchy, but there were dozens of them, so I guess that’s how they’re doing this. The parking garage was a very nice plus. Check in instructions got a little muddled (I only got checkout at first, which left me a bit in the dark on arrival), but it got sorted quickly enough with a phone call.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Everything you really needed was there and there were some nice decor accents. The bed was REALLY comfortable in the bedroom.

The host was prompt in addressing the concerns.

It was easy to connect with the host, and she clearly communicated the instructions. In case of poor weather, be mindful that you may be required to walk with luggage to collect the keys and then come to the actual apartment. So please don't assume it will be easy. However, take it easy on yourself if you can't find the keys. The keys are at the suggested spot. Walkable to waterfront, choices to eat, Loblaws (if you want to pick grocery)

We had trouble with the lock on the front door of the condo (maybe some instructions of how to use it would be best!). The elevators in the building were also a bit of a struggle, we were waiting at least 20-30 minutes to go down or up. We also weren’t sure if we were supposed to bring our own pillows because there were only decorative shams!

We had an issue with the heating and air-conditioning, the lights, And the security staff was less than secure. We reached out to the owner, who did respond back to us. But the solutions she was giving just wasn’t working out. At first, she wanted us to leave our key in the lockbox all day, which we did, but then I realized I now could not have access to my room. So then she suggested I leave my room unlocked. Which I can’t believe was an object. The security guards were letting people in left and right without any keys, and then also swiping them so they could go upstairs. It was because of this that I did not feel comfortable with leaving my room unlocked. Our solution was we just opened up the screen door at all times because it really felt that 80° in there. I had sent videos to the owner as well about the light situation, there were about 15 light switches, and maybe seven actually functioned. We were pleased with the location, and the bed and cleanliness.

The kitchen is poorly equipped and the dishes were dirty, probably because the dishwasher is not working, same thing for the coffee machine. The whole kitchen area needs an upgrade otherwise the rest of the apartment is good.

Good location, very central. The building is great and the apartment is somehow big with the 2 rooms and 2 bathroom. Beds are comfortable and clean although the mattress is very soft.

The check-in experience was terrible, as previously described. Additionally, we encountered a broken window, but the apartment owner chose not to address the issue.

Obtaining the keys proved to be quite challenging. We spent over 30 minutes searching for the correct box, only to discover that the apartment owner had provided the wrong box number. Eventually, we resorted to trying each locker until we found the correct one. However, the experience was extremely unpleasant.

Some of the curtains in the bedrooms were not functioning (they are electronic opening and closing with a remote), so there was a bit more light in the bedroom than what was preferred. Otherwise, no other issues with this property.

This unit was absolutely one of the best locations I have booked with on booking.com. The unit was clean, stocked for supplies, and all of the promised options were working well. The location is very convenient and the price was competitive.

Two windows were left open in the bedrooms to air out the apartment. Once we arrived we were unable to close one of the 2, sent messages to both numbers provided in the confirmation email. They initially answered, both asking for a picture showing what the issue was. When I replied that I couldn’t take a picture because we had left for our event I never got an answer back. Texted both numbers later on because we were unable to close the blinds in one of the rooms… never got an answer as well. Ended sleeping with 2 blinds out of 5 open and woke up way earlier than desired because of the sunlight. The lack of response is honestly what bothers me. We were 4 people, had 4 towels but just 2 washcloths… no hand towels to be found for the bathrooms. Also the floor was not properly done (multiple cracks in their floating floor). Pillows were incredibly hard and big. One bed was hard and the other was too soft.

The heater could have worked more efficiently, though. But it's still a really good place and worth the money you spend.

The unit is well-spaced and suitable to accommodate four people easily. The bathroom was really clean, and the best items for us were close to a brand-new washer- dryer and also the dishwasher.

The building is next to a restaurant/bar which plays loud music at night. Thankfully they stop the music at around 11pm. If you go to sleep early I wouldn't recommend that place or at least bring earplugs.

Location was centrally located and easy to get to explore other neighborhoods like little portugal, downtown, chinatown, etc. Very practical that we had parking too. The apartment was spacious. We loved that there were 2 bathrooms.
