Were given a very quiet room on the back corner and could sleep with the screened window open and air conditioning turned off. The bath/shower enclosure was very new and clean. Good for an on-route night of rest.

The carpet had many stains and the air conditioner was super loud due to the fan rubbing against something.

Breakfast was served in the small lobby with little room to sit. We wanted to enjoy the breakfast sitting down, but there was no place to sit and enjoy.

If you like comfy beds that give you the feeling you are laying on a cloud, then this is the place for you. The room is not only clean but the mattresses are very comfortable, in fact probably better than some of the 4 star hotels I have stayed at!

Breakfast was very disappointing. A little table in the office had Costco muffins cut in half, then wrapped in Saran. Fruit option was an apple. One type of yogurt in 125 ml containers. Coffee in little styrofoam cups. That was it. The room decor was dark, and made it feel cheap and dirty. But the bed and bathroom was spotlessly clean.

The rooms are somewhat dated, but because they are affordable, clean, handy, and comfortable, this does not bother me. I will continue to think of the Ranchland Inn first when I need a comfortable place to overnight in Kamloops.

We have stayed at the Ranchland Inn in Kamloops for many years now. It is in a convenient spot for us, since it is +/- half-way from Vancouver to Calgary. We used Booking.com to book, and enjoy the efficiency of this process. The rooms are always clean, tidy and comfortable; linens are clean and the check-in is always friendly and efficient.

There was a bit of a strange smell of chlorine in the reception and the rooms. Maybe from cleaning. But we got used to it after a while. But something to consider of you are sensitive to odours.

Stayed over for one night on our way to Vancouver. Rooms were big and relatively clean. The AC was very appreciated. Nothing special but really ok for one night. Staff at reception was nice.

The room we stayed in was an interesting set-up. The bathroom sink was in the bedroom and there were some amenities placed in weird spots in the room.

Bed was firm and comfortable, location was convenient right off highway 1.

Beds weren’t very comfy but that’s personal preference, can’t please everyone. Way too soft for me. The sink was blocked when we arrived but it was late so didn’t bother getting it fixed, just told them on check out the following morning. The light fixtures rattled whenever a train went past.

Was only passing through on the way to Revelstoke but it was a good location for that. Rooms were a good size. Staff were friendly.
