    Nothing not to like.

Gorgeous hostel, very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Cute little guest garden where we sat and listened to a concert being hosted next door. Great community. Made me want to move in! I was really sad I only booked one night. Lots of interesting things to do around the place, amazing local trails, restaurants and a local museum. Highly recommend a visit to Cumberland and this hostel, it was one of my trip highlights.

Architecturally, it's a very nice building with a large, spacious common room and kitchen and the nicest washrooms I've seen in a hostel or lower priced motels.

Some said big bedrooms were cold and one said the mattress was a little saggy (mine was perfect firmness).

Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed. Great room had a pool table, dart board and tons of room for our athletes to eat and play in. Storage room had an area to wax skis and a boot dryer for our wet ski gear, such a bonus! A great facility for our biathlon team to stay! We will be back!

Location - really close to bike trails, hikes and the lake. Also, right in town, so close to great shops, breweries, places to eat and everything that makes Cumberland a little gem! Room - Great size with a really comfy bed. A ceiling fan which was great for the high temps. Mesh over the windows to stop those mosquitoes! Check in - you get a text with a code, which opens the main door and your bedroom door. Absolutely rapid and no need to have someone on the front desk. Facilities - Great common area, and there are multiple individual shower/toilet rooms that were really clean. Parking - loads of free parking on the street outside the hostel Price - without doubt the best price for what you get that I came across in a month on the island.

    Nothing!

The hostel was in a central location-handy for both shops and trailheads. It was tastefully decorated and furnished. It was spacious with plenty of good cooking and storage facilities. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms fresh and airy. We enjoyed the pool table and dart board.

The Hostel was a great place to stay in Cumberland. Central location - well equipped kitchen - spacious and comfortable common space with great views of the town. We got to see cyclists from every direction. The Hostel is within moments to great cycling trails. Beds are a bit firm - but comfortable. The ceiling fan works quietly and beautifully to cool the room.is Our room was close to the downtown activity - so could get a bit animated with sound from traffic - however - even that became a great part of the experience. The building has been beautifully restored by the current owner Jeremy and its history captured in photographs. Cumberland and the Riding Fool are both gems on the island.

The website we booked made it look like there was a mini kitchen in our room. people walking by our room at night was really loud. on the website it said there would be kids books and toys, and when we inquired about it, there were none.

loved the expansive dining room. lots of different kitchen toys (stovetop espresso maker:)). pool table and old school video games were a hit with my 3-year old.
