Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesPaying for parking. The fact that you have to pay for parking when there is no other place to park is crazy. It was $30 per night. That should be included when you stay at the hotel.
Everything, we love everything about our stay. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, the view was amazing, the location was ideal for us, and the food was amazing. It is far from the nightlife but we didn't mind.

United StatesThe only complaint would be the in-door pool was very small, and no hot tub but honestly everything else was so spectacular we didn’t even care.
What did we like? Everything! The staff was exceptional, catered to our every need, shuttle drivers were prompt and helpful. Perfect for staying and commuting to downtown Toronto by train. The gym facility is top notch as well as the property in general. Daily housekeeping was seamless as a lot of hotels only offer this by request due to covid. Rohan saw to our needs at breakfast and he was truly the highlight of our hospitality experience but all of the staff went above and beyond. We will be staying here whenever we visit Toronto.

CanadaWe were disappointed to learn we had to pay over $30 to park our rental vehicle in the parking lot that was full, so I had to park 5 rows back and with bad knees and back, it was a long walk back to the hotel to help my husband (who has COPD) to a room on the 3rd floor that was so far from the elevators that we had to stop multiple times to rest before finally finding Room 351. We are in our 70’s and did not appreciate the location of the room. At reception, the person checking us in was apparently not very observant that we needed a room close to the elevators, and help with our luggage. We wanted a drink with ice but we’re not going to wander again through the maze of hallways to find vending machines or ice. The mini fridge was not stocked with any water, juice, or pop which was very disappointing for us old folks. We were also not impressed that there was no complimentary breakfast but would be charged $32 each if we wanted to eat. We have already paid by credit card for our return on the 22nd, otherwise, we would not have chosen to stay at the Westin again!
The room was clean and a decent size. The beds were comfortable! There was nothing more that we liked!
