Our group stayed in 2 rooms. The only issue was with the “Match” room on the second floor. With the exception of the bathroom, there were no hooks anywhere to hang clothing.

We were in town for a wedding at the Pelee winery. The home no longer provides breakfast, however there is a good supply of coffee or tea to start your day. Location to the winery and the town was perfect, even walking distance to the wedding venue.

The bathroom was a bit cramped but that’s part of being in a charming old house.

The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated being able to charge our electric car overnight. The host was very helpful and responsive.

    There wasn't anything to dislike.

Really appreciated the restoration of this beautiful century home. A perfect mix from old time charm with a touch of modern. This home is warm, inviting and very clean. Truly a “Home away from home” The location is spot on! Close to all amenities, restaurants, grocery stores, specialty stores, winery and more. Owners were fantastic and readily available for anything. The home was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need for your stay.

There was nothing not to like, but there is only one first floor bedroom. We were on the second floor. Going up the staircase was not an issue for us but since the staircase is narrow it might be difficult for some guests.

It was nicely restored and had modern facilities, including a great kitchen, with the integrity of the original house still maintained. The porch, and back patio were delightful places for a meal or morning coffee.

Odd not being met by anyone in person… only by email.

Quiet location. We were the only guests at that time. House is very well equipped to deal with everything a guest might want or need to enjoy their stay.

The temperature was too warm (felt like the air conditioning wasn't working) and the fan didn't work so we didn't sleep that well. I would recommend more lighting at night. We arrived back late after our function and it was very difficult to see the driveway and the property.

The property is lovely, great location.

Can't honestly say there was anything that we didn't like. If I had to come up with one thing it'd be more a suggestion to the hosts. Your home is so beautiful and full of history that we think it has a story untold. More information about the people who lived there would be so nice!

Beautiful historical home from 1880's that has been equipped with all the conveniences of home. Great location, only a 5 minute drive from downtown Kingsville. The complimentary juice, coffee, tea and bagels were a real surprise. Easy to find, ample parking and even a large, community fire pit out back that unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy. A highlight was enjoying our morning coffee on the sheltered deck (there are actually two of them on each side of the house so you can enjoy privacy if one side is occupied). Although the home can accommodate a number of people staying overnight, it's layout and size gives so much privacy. There are even two separate reading rooms out front with sliding privacy doors off each.

We appreciated the owners request to not wear street shoes. We brought and wore slippers. We suggest the owners add to the request that hard soled shoes also are loud on the wood floors. We could hear other guests walking on the floors very early in the wee hours while we slept.

The house is beautiful and well equipped with beautiful yard and backyard views.

Does not appear to be air conditioned. There is some noise from the outside street but being a deep sleeper was not an inconvenience for me.

The complimentary bottled water. The parking area. Outdoor seating area. Great location on a main street in Kingsville. Close to a Tim Hortons Shoppers Drug Mart and grocery store. May open the windows. Like the height of the windows.
