Modern. Fire pits handy to lounge beside. Just wish there was option of saunas or hot tubs without high price. Not sure there are hottubs?? Showers coming off beach were hot and welcomed spots to get out of wetsuits and clean up the dog.

It is absolutely 10 for us. The unit was big enough and clean, it also contained all needed staff for cooking. Hotel has a great feature if you don’t want daily cleaning, you can just request things which you need (for example, additional coffee or tea). On the hotel territory you can find 2 cafes, where we took delicious fish&chips. Location is perfect, we took advantage of meeting sunset near to ocean. Territory is pretty big and even has small trail, which lead to a great view spot. We definitely want to return.

We stayed in 1bdrm suite upon arrival for 4 days. Switched to a Beach House for last 3 nights........ WHOOAA So gorgeous. Major difference. All THANKS to ANKU Guest Services Agent of the Sands Resort. He took a bad experience and turned it into a fantastic World of wonder and true blessings.

The saunas are run privately, look great and were busy. But they are expensive at $200 for 2 hours, which is way too long to be in a sauna. No fault of the resort since they are private, but we wish we could have taken advantage of a shorter time in them for a cheaper price. They must be booked in advance online.

The location is excellent and right on South Chesterman/Cox Bay beach. Accommodation is modern and clean with comfortable beds and amenities. Onsite are two places to get great food, and the resort is very close to other restaurants including Browns Socialhouse. The resort grounds include fire pits, barbeque pits, scenic view benches, walking paths and saunas. The resort is located just a few minutes away from Tofino itself, and a short drive to the other main beaches. This has become my favourite spot to stay when I am out that way.

The way the exterior lights from the outside hallway streamed into the bedroom. Better blinds to block this light or having those lights dimmed in the night time would have been great.

The view was incredible. The room was cozy and clean. We loved being so close to the beach.

There was water conservation during our stay for a few days so when coming off from the beach our flip flops would be soaked in sand and we were not able to wash them in nearby faucets coz the water was off. But not a major issue at all! everything was worth our money! :)

The view, the place, the comfort, the beach, the facilities. Probably almost everything. We spent our honeymoon here and we love that we were able to enjoy the view, the sunset, the stargazing and much more. My partner was also able to cook, and we were able to save with our food. Plus, their cooking pans were expensive! (According to my partner :) we would definitely come back next time!

The only complaint I had was my bed was a bit too soft. Everything else was perfect.

My Sister and I came for a walk down memory lane. We spent many childhood holidays renting a cabin on Long Beach, long before the Government took over. The Pacific Sands was the best choice for us, each having our own bedroom was key. The view was spectacular, the beach house spacious and clean. We witnessed many Weddings preformed right in the little cove near our beach House. Loved the Beach Shack Restaurant and the cafe.
