How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room is cozy. It’s just that we saw a hat and socks under the bed. Did they really cleaned the room including under the bed?
We stayed for 3 days and same breakfast served every day. Must be nice if there’s an alternative food served every other day. Overall it’s ok.

The room wasn't cleaned on the second day. Just towels changed. My second key didn't work even after informing the front desk.

We couldn’t get a shuttle when we needed it they kept changing the hours you need to book it by from 1hr - 4hrs
Location, facilities and breakfast included. Constant tea coffees and ice machine

Nothing really as such, that I had noticed.
A very straight forward, simple, minimalistic, easy experience overall. The location is great, close to downtown, and other attractions. The lobby, breakfast, and games were good difference makers.

Not that I didn't like, but I have sensitive skin and the hotel only offered body soap that has a perfume.. the smell was really good tho.
The place was super quiet and new, the bed was pretty comfortable too. The shuttle was on time. The staffs were nice and fast to check me in and to check out.

The shuttle service was horrible! The vehicle was old and honestly we wondered how it could pass inspection. The transmission seemed to be ready to fall out and the drivers were both driving like they didn’t have a licence .. it’s unfortunate as the hotel and the hotel staff were great!
Hotel room was great! Remodelled and clean! Nice big room and a really comfortable bed.

The staff at the shuttle service acted the complete opposite of the staff inside the hotel building. Four male adults just looked at us as we tried to handle all the luggage and our little toddler. As we seemed to act too slow (no wonder with nobody helping us storing the luggage inside the vehicle), they started pushing us to hurry. Not helping us, no friendly word plus an insane run of a drive to the airport. Worst customer-service.
Outstanding friendliness and customer-oriented service by the hotel staff - front desk, management, cleaning team - that made sure we had a comfortable and pleasant time traveling with our very young toddler.

More conveniences within walking distance.
It was the typical breakfast. Location was ok, but not a lot of things within walking distance. Hotel was great and served the purpose of an overnight stay.

Didn't like all the planes flying over but I realize this comes with the location

Location: well, the scenery around there is unattractive, but that's not the hotel's fault. Better soundproofing would certainly be helpful: we could hear a lot from the room next door.
Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Shuttle from airport was good. Bed was comfy, and everything was clean. Liked the provided shampoo etc.

Younger people tend to use. Sometime feel constrained for middle age.

The transfer shuttle from Pearson took longer than we expected. The hotel is on the perimeter fence but it seemed to go the long way around in both directions.
Quite close to the airport if you are arriving late like we did

Asked about parking at front desk and was given info sheet but was not told you are required to reserve parking for the airport. The next day was a bit stressful when we showed up at the lots on the list we were given to be told that we couldn’t park without reservation.

The WiFi connection to Hilton Honors network didn't work. We arrived late around 1 AM and didn't have time to sort out issues. We could hear loud sounds from the airplanes flying by. Our room's washing gels ran out. There weren't any spare toilet paper. It gave me an impression that the housekeeping stafff are not diligently checking their supplies be available to the room (214) guests. The front desk didn't take time to look at my air flight reservation when I showed him to make reservation to take the Hotel shuttle bus to our airport. He just asked which airline? I said "Air Canada". Then he said, all Air Canada flights go to the Terminal 1. Unfortunately our Air Canada flights start from YTZ, not YYZ! Had he noticed the difference, it would save us a big mistake. Yes, the error was on us.
Breakfast was okay, not as fancy as most of the reviews indicated. No bananas; but plenty of apples, oranges available to enjoy. Scramble eggs somehow dry; sausages patties okay; yugorts okay. Seating areas are open and interesting.
