I thought that the bed was mushy and too soft, but then again I sleep on the floor for my back. Still, the space age shower made up for it lol

Breakfast was unbeatable, thougthfully prepared, just in time. The location is quiet and out of the traffic, a short walk from the town. The house itself is lovely and the garden lush and lovingly tended. I'd love to visit more often! The host went above and beyond of his way to help us get around, Mike is a gem.

My husband and I received a warm welcome from the hosts when we arrived. They gave us a quick tour before we were taken up to our room. The Queen room was lovely and very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was the best out of all the B&Bs we have stayed in over the years! It was large and had enough towel racks and shelf space for both our toiletries so we didn't have to fight for space. :) There is a small lounge between the 2 guestrooms offering coffee and tea. It also serves as a nice buffer zone so you don't hear noise from the other guestroom. This layout is perfect! Breakfast each morning was sumptuous and delicious! We were served fruit salad, granola, yogurt, pastries, toast, plus a hot entrée (1st morning we had ham & cheese omelette and 2nd morning we had spinach quiche). The leisure breakfast paired with the lively conversations with the other 2 guests and the hosts gave us a great start for each day. Thank you Annette and Mike! We look forward to staying with you again! :)

Very nice room. Big enough everything is very clean. Great breakfast. A well-equipped private bathroom. Spectacular flower arrangements in the room and in the rest of the house. The hosts are very nice with interesting stories about Canada and the surrounding area

Loved everything, couldn't fault it at all!

The breakfasts were out of this world and Mike and Annette couldn't have been nicer, friendlier hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever stayed in and all the other facilities were great too! Perfect stay

The hosts, Annette and Mike were lovely. The home was very nice. The breakfast each day was exceptional and a great way to start the morning. We really enjoyed chatting with the other two guests about literature and theatre.

My friend and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at Twinings Retreat. The proprietors were delightful and helpful, the breakfasts delicious and beautiful, the garden lovely and relaxing, and the overall atmosphere very inviting. I will definitely stay there again if I'm lucky enough to get a reservation!

We loved how welcoming and accommodating Mike and Annette were. The breakfasts were delicious; it was a fulfilling spread and majority of the food was homemade and locally sourced—jams, bread, muffins, granola…etc. such a great location: we were a walk away from the downtown core and a beautiful historical park. As we brought our own bikes to tour local wineries, Mike offered us space in his garage and any of his tools to service our bike. The backyard and garden is a relaxing space for the end of your day or at breakfast.

I have nothing bad to say about my stay.

The hosts are absolutely wonderful. Hospitable and easy to talk to. Having wonderful breakfasts with them and the other guests in the morning was really lovely. The food was well beyond my expectations and really delicious! The neighborhood is quiet and walking distance from town. The backyard/garden is an oasis - well maintained and very relaxing. I wish we had more time to just hang out there!
